Game Battles: What Have THEY done for Socom

I've stated everything I think about GB. All GB really did was there to publicly showcase great clans and now, they're known for the players being glitchers, lagger, complainers and overall ignorant pathetic middle school kids. People still want to show their clan be "known" and since Socom 3 will have the ingame ladder, Gamebattles won't be nearly as useful or as popular as the ingame ladder because of some of these reasons.
1. Gamebattles was played to showcase great clans and for the players to get known, and the ingame ladder WILL be viewed more than GB because all of the poeple who play Socom 3 will view it, not some people who gon online and search for a Socom 3 ladder system.
2. When you're clan will be more known because of the more people viewing your stats/wins, therefore nullifying the use of gamebattles.
3. There won't be a overall banning of certain guns, it's completely up to you and the other clan. You can compromise, not like the usual, 'No IW, M14, M3, M4's, SP-10s" and etc.

In conclusion Gamebattles was popular because it allowed players to interact with one another without playing, for players/clans to get known, and to discuss the game. In Socom 3, there will be a forum for discussing the game, great ladder system to view the best clans and disucc them much easier than how it is currently, and an easier way of creating wars with other clans and all without the corrupt refs, horrible admins, glitchers and whiny players.

Socom 3 will have that built in ladder thing, but it can't be much use. Won't be long before it is hacked, or rank up clans or something like that. Plus, how will it record losses? A team can just abort or cheat and there would be no way of knowing. If people cheat and stuff on GB where they can get caught, they are going to have a hay-day on the S3 ladder.

im not 100% for sure but i think the stats are still recorded even if you abort

These are the kind of annoyances that I feel GB has "done for SOCOM"... it's part of the reason why my clan has to make FU wants 8v8 no GB rooms to meet up in. IMO, that is just a huge hassle!

And gb wont be died when socom 3 comes out. They have ladders for a TON of other games, not just socom.

Socom is just one of the more popular ones. But it will defenitly decrease in popularity in the socom section s3 comes out though, no doubt.

Indeed because of gamebattles the mojority of socom 2 gamers are obsessed with "noob guns"

on their forums I remember seeing the bann the M14 post which sparked off a huge revolution across the socom world where people were banning the M14... this nonsense has to stop.

people who go round banning guns on a computer game need to get a life
