Game Battles: What Have THEY done for Socom

I don't see why GB has to do anything for Socom in the first place. They do for Socom what they do for every other game they support: They arrange clan wars and ladders. Thats it.

Even without Socom, GB would be thriving because of their other games.

I will say that personally I think every GB stinks, although they obviously have a wanted service since tons of people use it. However, all clans do in GB wars is camp camp camp and it's boring boring boring. I rather play the game for fun and not really care about dying or losing. GB clans are always breaking up and fighting because someone messed up in a war, or the clan lost too many wars, or any other stupid thing you can think of.

Besides.. with all the lag, cord pulling and other BS in Socom... how can you play seriously? I know I'd be seriously pissed if I was in a GB war and we lost the final round of the final game because someone pulled their cord. Or perhaps the entire other team was lagging. Either way theres too much laggayness in Socom to play seriously and care about winning or losing. Thats the problem and the reason why GB turns out to not be very fun.

I was in a GB clan and it was always agony when our enemy clans would glitch, pull their cord, or use a cheap gun, or whatever. Then we'd be scrambling to hurry up and record whatever was happening or get a GB referee in there fast. It's all just a big stupid waste of time and now I have a lot more fun playing for FUN and not caring about dying or losing.

Exactly. GB has turned every possible gun except smoke and flashbangs into n00b. I was in [stupidsymbolsrepresentingsomehting] 13-1 gB trYz! room and they were complaining about:

Smoke grenades actually do damage if you're hit in the head. Not much, but it does something.

Gamebattles has created the widespread complaining about n00b guns. Sure people complained aboit them before but not nearly as often and as pathetic as the morons on GB. I don't really see a reason to play on GB anymore considering when our clan did, the clans we played against were a lot more rude, pulled their cords more often, glitches to pull off draws more often that you'd like to believe and overall complain about everything. We were 5-0 on GB but quit because you had to set dates, send in tickets, and haave proof that they were glitching while now we have a lot more wars without GB, have more fun because less people cheat than compared on GB and we can just void a game if we know they cheated.
Also, it's not true that the best clans are on gamebattles, it's pure math if you think about it. About 90% of clans don't use gamebattles and that demographic will contain a more variety of skill levels, to much worse to much better.
Gamebattles was a good concept, but it's just the corrupt refs, whining/cheating players and horrible admins on it that make it anything far from fun.

The 15 year olds ruined this game, not GB. If you look at the forums, most of the older people and vets of the game, want to bring the M14 back, they really do. But the masses of small weiners have prevented that. They are the ones with no lives, and they happen to chose to play on GB, I bieleve they are mostly responsible for giving it a bad rep.

I played a GB war against a clan that had a GB ref as a member. The ref spoke as though he was God, and he talked a whole bunch of crap. He also made up a bunch of rules that for some reason put everything in their favor.

Then when it was time for the tie breaker he lied about how many rounds they had won, claiming he took a picture of the screen. He then refused to send us the picture when we asked to see it.

An ensign in their clan said on the mic "Come on guys, they won more rounds than us. Don't lie." They said they were gonna kick him out for telling the truth.

Dude GB is not even that good, they have so many limited weapons its not even funny, my clan SOTG does not participate in any of there actions. but when socom 3 comes out GB wont exist as there is the online socom ladder Socom 3 has put in so that will be tight as hell

I just dont get it :? GB knows theyll soon be obselete when socom 3 comes out. So what do they do? F*** up the Beta testing by making a beta ladder for socom 3, which will probably make the beta testing less effective Wow talk about a last ditch effort
