the only place to find those maps is opm issue #90 if i'm not mistaken. i havent played them in so long tho. i guess that hard drive was a waste of money. especially since they dont even manufacture the larger ps2's anymore. and the slim one doesnt take the hdd. i wonder how many other people got suckered in by sony and how much money they made from the hdd from people who dont play final fantasy 11.

Stopping official hardrive stuff doesnt do anything to stop the piracy !

it just pisses people of.

and as for the PSP stoping memory card support for games because of piracy

The hackers out there ruin it for everyone else who just want to run legit homebrew and stuff

There are nearly ALWAYS rooms up running the new maps....they are almost entirely on the US EAST server.....that is the first one....although they spill over the US EAST 2 and 3 as well. There are definately a core of gamers that play these maps nightly...as I have seen many familiar names night after night.....for those that don't have the maps...you're missing alot....all three maps rock....

The HDD became a problem for them with the HDD loader......(so much so, that you can't even mention the term "HDD loader" on GameFAQS without getting flagged for moderation!)......with that software, you could simply rent and burn games to the HDD...and return them.....this is kind of what they intended as far as function(being able to have all your games loaded and playable from the HDD - no cd's to swap out), but they expected that we would BUY all the games and keep them.....

There are methods for connecting an external USB Hard drive to your slim-PS2 see this : http://www.ps2nfo.com/usbfaq.html

As for the discs....issues 87, 88 and 89 had the original issues of each map...and issue 90 had all three....check Ebay....I sold alot of magazines there and I'm sure you can find the disc that way....or borrow it from a clanmate that has them.
