The m14 is cheap. you dont ride the kick. you dont need the skill. you dont get headshots. the hit detection and power of it is insane. you person youre shooting at does not stand a chance. if youre not getting 15+ kills with it, every game, you dont deserve to play it.

you just ****en spray. its a 2 hit kill. out of those 20 bullets, you will hit their chest twice. it's cross heir's spread very quick(much like otakucon87's mom's legs) but also settle quickly too. it is easy to snipe someone. you just shoot twice, theyre dead. for most guns you need a headshot, but not this one. ill say 50% of you that use the m14 and claim you get headshots, dont even get over half your kills with a headshots

basically...the m14 is cheap. you suck if you dont get 10-40 kills with it, and if you use the m14, you use dildos too.

Apparently you are one of the seals that sits back in a tree or something with an m4a1-sd and gets mad when you get severely owned buy a guy with an m14 because you couldnt kill him from your little hiding spot before he got to you. Like i tell all seals....DONT HATE!! Work on your accuracy if you keep gettin killed by someone with an m14! As many advantages as the seals have even without the iw yall have no leg to stand on. Plus if its sooooooo frickin good why dont YOU pull it out and own with it.....this is what kills me. Seals will bytch about it and pull out an iw, i mean COME ON! Once again if it was the UB3R weapon then every side would use. The problem is if you use the unscilenced m4a1 then you couldve taken down the m14 guy no problem. I always use the unscilenced and never have a problem killin people using the m14 so dont understand where you are coming from.

Once again i will stand by my point that the M4A1 is just as good and powerful as the M14 in the RIGHT hands. Ive never had problems killin a terr using an M14 with my M4A1 so why do you have so much problems? If terr got M4's i would use it all the time but we don't. If you actually had valid points i would understand your plight....but you dont. I could just as easily say you should get 10 plus kills a game with a regular M4A1 and if you dont your a noob but i refrain from that. Lag, etc will always be a factor in socom 2 like it or not. My name is easy to spell, come play with us sometime....ill make sure and wear my pretty red POACHER jacket on terr and use the M14 and Ownz you on Blizzard like only a seal can be owned :P

the m14 is cheap. its basically the only gun i get killed with. i cant remember the last time i havent died from an m14. and no i dont camp back, and i rarly use the m4sd, if you didnt ***** it up with the m14 kills you might try a gun called the M16A2, maybe youve heard of it, maybe not. i mean, it is a single or 3 burst only gun, and i know you arent used to using a gun that isnt fully auto. so anyways, both sides have it and its a very good gun (for me, good guns for you include only the m14, iw, and GL's) so anyways, try picking it up sometime.

i dont believe in being a ***** against real people. but i admit...i do pull it out (the m14, in case you got lost.) (***.) on my ensign name to play some ensigns only and rack up a 30+ kill once in a while. but ensigns dont really count, they arent human.

wow. really. wow. at 1st my initial instinct was to not even dignify this thread w/ a response...but here my 2 cents:

the majority of the people that whine about the M14 or any other gun for that matter, are sheep...mindless lemmings who, God bless 'em, cant formulate their own opinion about Socom, and instead rehash the same old tired whiny rants about guns in the game...so what do they do? they hear all their fellow crybabies whining, and lo and behold, it becomes THEIR lot in life to become the anti-nooberish gun crusader...wow. seriously if you take up a cause, do volunteer work, deliver food to the elderly, treat invalid German Sheps

but to get as worked up as you do over a gun. In a game. One word. Pathetic. Play for fun, but take it as seriously as you do, and I'll laugh in your face all day long...

Ok, you can argue this endless battle on and on, but let me ask you just one simple question. If you are a terrorist on any map and you keep getting killed with the M4A1sd, what are you going to do? No M14 according to you...only option is the m16. For everyone who is not handy with this weapon (i.e. most people on socom!) what options are there. Let us find out!

In The SMG department you have a little old 9mm sub. Terrible accuracy, recoil, and noise. Not to mention it is very weak and terrible with headshots. The only plus side is the large clip size which doesn't help if you are shooting peas at the seals! The F90 you say! Well, again with the extended clip size. However, this is a more accurate and weaker version of the 9mm sub. Not ideal.

The Assault Rifles are a little different. The Aks and the Ak have been stripped of their former glory and now are extremely weak in fire fights. The Ak is alright, but is not ideal for a terrorist based off of weak bullets, poor distance accuracy, and the loud noise. The STG, heh, yea maybe you will kill the seal after the fourth clip in his back. Then again, he will just turn around and pop you with his [Insert any Seal gun here as they all equally PWN]. 552....sure because we all know that is the best choice. Same goes with the Silenced version of the 552. It is less accurate, weaker, and loader than the M4A1sd, the apparant "equivalant" to the 552 weapons. PSSSSHHH what a load of CRAP.

Then you got your crappy sniper rifles and pistols. Sure the DE and Model 18 are worth defending. But the M82 is less accurate and takes more time to steady than the m87. These are nearly identical, but the m87 is clearly better. The SASR....please.

So while seals are owning everything with the RA, M4, M4sd, HK5sd, HK5, HK5K, and not to mention their SILENCED AUTOMATIC SNIPER RIFLE which pwns everything. We will be limited to .... the Ak47 and STG? Are you serious? To be quite honest, I agree the M14 is too powerfull. However, show me one way where the terrorist arsenal is even close to equal with the seals. Terrorists using the M14 is fine in my book, but when a Seal has the nerve to pick one up all hell breaks loose. I HATE THAT. YOU HAVE 22 GUNS OF PURE GLORY THAT PWN EVERYTHING AND YOU ONLY USE THE M14.

Terrorists need the M14 and you cannot defend that comment. Seals DO NOT need the m14. The terrorists are supremely GIMPED by not having m14s because they are reserved to one of 4 weapon choices after that as a gunner. (M60, AK47, STG, M16). This compared to the onslought of seal weaponry, including 3 POWERFUL silenced weapons (one of which a fully auto sniper rifle), coming right at them.

p.s.- Since you will try and say, "This from a person who uses the M14," I will openly defend myself. As a terrorist I use the M60, M16, STG, AK-47, 9mm sub, and M3 on occasion. I use the M14 often, but it isn't my primary choice. When traveling with the M14 I do not spray fire like a godforsaken idiot. I keep range and single shot. The M14 is a great sniper rifle, and if you do your history it can be used as one with a few handy attatchments (in real life). Also when traveling with the M14, I drop it for the nexy available seal weapons. I will also touch base on the fact that I know you used the M14 atleast once, and it might even have been recently. The point I am trying to make is that Seals shouldn't use the M14 but the terrorist should. It should NOT be frowned upon by ignorant players such as yourself you thinks everyone not using an m16 is a new. Beware, young one, for the M16 is going to be the next to go. I can hear it now, "The M16 is like the M14 only burst shots! No M16 cuz it's too good and I am just a newb!" Remember, you heard it from me FIRST.

I have never had a problem with M14s, IWs, or 203s. If you do, that's quite alright, but I believe you should invest your time in practicing. The fact of the matter is that if you invest your time that you spend complaining into practicing, you will overcome them. Complaining won't make you better.

If you are getting owned by a "noob" with an M14, then you are not very good, my friend.

If you get on your ensign name, get "30+ kills" and you are still an ensign, you are doing something wrong.

Learn to beat them and stop complaining. Thank you, sir.
