ToxicWarriors Beginner M16 Strategies

I figured I would make my very first post on the M16. Now the M16 is more than likely the best weapon in the game, and I just so happen to be extremely skilled with that weapon, and I have chosen to share my personal strategies with all of you here on the forum.

As we all know the M16 is a burst weapon so many people think it sucks. Well, I'm sorry to prove some people wrong, but this gun is flippin wicked.

And now for the tips!
1. Rhythm with this weapon is crucial. I have developed a way to conquer that, and no it's not a Turbo Controller. The way I fire this weapon pretty much near full auto is almost hold the R1 button down, but put a little pressure on it, then more, then less, and so on. Eventually you will get to where it almost fires on its own with little effort.
Note: This strategy is not for everyone, it may be more useful just to tap the thing with the tip of your finger very fast, but that hurts my finger so I chose to make my own strategy.
2. Putting your crosshairs at head level and strafing back and forth in a firefight is very effective. When you are able to shoot this thing pretty well this strategy becomes a godsend. Also, chest shots are very effective, but since this weapon is so friggin accurate you should probably try to aim for the chest/head level as with any weapon.

Well, that's it for now I might update this since i have more to say, but I need to think of some other stuff to write. I hope this helps and I didn't look like a complete idiot writing crap you guys have already seen before. Thanx, ToxicWarrior :D

Good stuff, Toxic Warrior. I know you've been lurking, you should post stuff more often.

I actually started using the m16 just a week ago, and I these tips really do work well. I'm doing great, and I've only had the game for about 4 months.

I couldn't get the pressure thing to work back when I was learning to use it...

So another way to learn is of course to go to FF respawn, sit in the tunnels and shoot at walls until the rhythm is good. Then work your way up, start running around while shooting randomly , and then go for the firefights, because if you get in firefights without learning to run and fire in burst at the same time, you'll end up trying to fire in single shot really fast and die (happened to me at least.)

I though i was the only person who did the pressure thing. like i seriously never take my finger off the trigger as i used to when i was a newb with this gun. just another tip is to put a bit of lead on your target, so when hes running to the side, shot infront of him as he will run into your bullets.
