The m16 is def the best gun in the game. Only bout 20% of the peole tht play have ever used it. I have slayed with that gun. I really dont even have a skill or rythm to it when i try. When i am in a gun fight my mind for somereason jsut does it. i have had people tell me that i am lgitching cause it sounds so smooth. In mixer i had a snipe from the boxcars to a guy on the mixer near the seal steps. IT WAS AWSOME. is my sig to big???????
lemme just say that these msg boards are SO much better than the "official" playstation boards for S2...k, that said, on to the M16
it seems the 3-burst just "forces" you to be more accurate...w/ other weapons I tend to spray a bit more, whereas the '16 I aim-then-shoot, rather than vice versa
anyway, anytime I feel a slump coming on and I cant seem to zero in accuracy-wise, I just use this trusty rifle and regain some of my touch
Me likey the tip... I always use this gun in gamebattles(or 552sd), and I like the tip on firing it.

Yeah i know. I read that he said he was the best. I doubt it. I've been using this gun ever since Socom 2 came out, even in the single player missions. I didn't start using it because of a recent M16 fad like most p0sers. If he wants a 1v1 then tell him to PM me. We will see just how uber he is.
these are great tips not just for this gun but for all handguns as well (im sure someone already said that) i used to never be able to use the m16 effectivly. but after reading this post i was gettin like 7-10 kills a game. besides this post needs to be kept alive.
Yep, good tips from Toxic. I spent about 5 weeks never even trying the M16 out, but one of my friends who played was really good with it, and one FF respawn he convinced me to use it. I whipped it out and ran into a firefight, getting 2 kills in about 3 seconds! I was so pleased I started using it often, and now I can do pretty well with this gun. By the way, I also do the "pressure" thing. It works.
