SOCOM is just about my life...it truly is sad how most people could give a ****...smoke weed...get drunk, and play socom<<<people whop do this...are just bums...it'll catch up with them sumday...but socom i something thta i find hard to tear away from.

Any of the things you listed can be an addicition if you let it. Just like you can smoke once in a while, or drink once in a while, you can also play Socom 2 once in a while. Theres no rule saying that if you smoke, it has to become your life. Which is the worst evil? Playing Socom all day or smoking all day? I play a lot of Socom and I smoke a lot too, and I got the sweetest job you could imagine. When I was only 24, I already had my own office in the world famous Chrysler Building in NYC - and I'd play Socom 1 and blaze, every day after work. Now I'm 26 and I got a hot as hell little 4'11 25yo girlfriend who permanently looks 18, and I'm moving in with her in 2 weeks. And I'll still blaze a phattie and play Socom.

Soooo... I think it's kind of lame to talk ish about smokers and drinkers.. and call us 'bums'... but then you say something like "SOCOM is just about my life". Damn thats not cool. Your a hypocrite. I'll tell ya one thing, you ain't gonna get laid playing Socom instead of living your life. On the flip side, you can get laid all the time, and have a great life, great job, and still drink and smoke and play Socom whenever you want.. but like anything, if it gets out of control it's bad. As for you... get out to a bar and get laid or something.

Honestly though.....its not really about the game or anything.....its kind of a Community Center kinda thingie to me...I'm about to graduate and this'll probably be one of the only ways to keep in touch with my friends and crap ya know. I honestly think its the people you play with that inspire you to keep getting back on. I would careless about this game if I didn't have anyone on my friends list ya know. But, the people I've met during this game are really interesting in terms of the way they act towards one another. I just observe them and it teaches me a lot when to say certain things and crap you know.

I'm not really supposed to play it because my mom don't think much of it (thinks playing such violent video games will affect me later in life, and says she dosen't support Mature games). But I play when I can. It hasn't really changed my life, but I sure as hell enjoy playing it.

well im 17 and still in school so when ever i play this game i usually blow home work till the morning. i remembered my parents went out of town so i played socom the entire day non stop. (well untill i was hungry and i need to go the RR.) that day i played vig. for like 7 hours straight, same room and everything. then once i started working i found out my managers play the game on line to, so that was pretty cool.

I've made alot of friends through this game, this game also gives me a vent from life. I can name 10 people right now that I know over this game and I love talking to them and hanging out even though I have never met face to face. Those people are the only people that keep me playing this damn game.
