no smoke or gernades

i follow what the book says to do Select the gernade then press x aim the gernade and press r1 and nothing happens. the yellow line appears but i can not throw. i am on the embassy level and can not call in the chopper.

well..if you are using the prescion shooter preset, you need to hold r1 and a yellow line should come up. You hold this to choose your distance, then let go of r1 and it and you will throw the nade.

R1 = Whatever you use to fire your weapon

i have tried holding r1 down but my line just jumps around and when i let go nothing happens i have never been able to throw anything on any level

your line jumps around?

are you sure that you are holding the R1 button in fully? if you have weak hands and can not press against the pressure of the R1 button then you are out of luck :P

what tye of controler style do you use?

i use the number 3 controller but i have tried it with all of them and it just wont work. i have held it down hard and it still just jumps around and nothing happens

It could be that there may be something with the actual controller. Do you have any others that you can try it with?

Ya cause some controllers are not pressure sensative so the harder you press nothing will happen. If you have the original dualshock controller that comes with ps2 you should be fine.
