Hope it works! Do you start out, with the red smoke, in your inventory? Maybe it's something in the making of the disc. I dought you'de be able to get a new one, but you could try. Also, could just be a scratch.

Hey thanks guys. Once I started throwing red smoke all over the place it allowed me to throw one on the roof. Weird! Well onto the Russians.

dude u have to wait 10 mins the deploy the red smoke. not the other way around.

u do have to wait until all snipers are dead and the time runs out. bring the vips to the very top of the roof in the corner and throw the smoke at there feet. it works every time

my problem is my red smoke is locked .6 hours same level any help please

Not quite sure of your question. But you should be able to pop the red smoke, at any time durning the game. Try tossing one, right at first. Don't throw them all. Just one. If it works then, you should be able to do so, at the end of game. If not, then it might be your disc. You might need to get a new one.

THAT HAPPENED 2 ME AS WELL

what I did that worked surpirsingly is, don't go on the roff till the 10:00 are up!!!!!!!!! Keep them on the last floor in the corner by the stairs. Tell the hostages to law low. Take the m60e3 from the building, give ure team m16's and survive. Then once you're done the waiting take them up to the extraction wait, pick off 2 or 3 snipers that are threats then deploy the smoke.

idk how this worked for me but i threw the red smoke over the wall thats to the left of the platform and the chopper came

Here is my winning strategy for Against the Tide, (I will post a better one later). Get into the building, and take the workers up to the roof, and put them in the back of the heli pad and tell Able, or Bravo to stay put, then go stand on the stairs, and just shoot the guys as they come up, its the easiest level. Oh, Oldman, you dont need to take out the snipers. I never do it.

^^ exactly but i have bravo on one side of the door (left side of the big hole as you face the rooftop door) and have them hold position and fire at will then i and jester are on the right side of the door. An M60 helps cause you can unload on the door if more than a few come through. Aim about and inch to the left of the door as they stop right after they come out the door. headshots are super easy this way cause you can put one round in them right as they pause. Ive never killed nor been killed by one of their snipers. they have pisspoor aim.
