Like i said in the other thread, take your right analog stick and pop it out while sniping. Much finer control.

2 shots to the chest kills with M40A1 -extremly stead
3 shots to the chest kills with SR-25 w/ SD and w/ out; SASR -steady
1 shot to the chest kills with M82A1 and M87LER -not steady

There plain and simple and not talking about how the guns sounds.

The M4OA1 will not always do better than the others, the correct sniper rifle all depends on what spots you go to, what map, and how close up you are sniping, and more.

I snipe most of my time on socom so i am pretty expeirenced. Some of the basic of sniping: laying down is more accurate, when trying to hit someone running aim in front of them a little and wait for them to enter your line of fire, when on terrorists team do not wear the black suit or dark suites this attracts attention to you. I got what you guys are saying but I got one question while sniping I was playing in Sandstorm as SEALS and I was sniping a Terrorist andI fired a shot wit the M8LeR or what eva its called and I shot him in the arm and he didnt die but he killed me so why does this happen sometimes????and sometimes you could kill him??????? srry tho ya'll.

Opinions On Sniping:
I like sniping I'm pretty good but sometimes I just fukk around b/c I have bad and good games if I have good games I snipe in tha same spot more than once but ppl are so stupid that they never come and kill me when I sit in the same spot over and over

If I understand your question right then the answer would be that sometimes you can get a kill by sniping someone in the arm or leg if they are already injured and low on health. However it requires either a head shot or a body shot to get a 1 shot kill with the m82 and the m87 if your target has full health

Sometimes I think if they have full health if you hit them in the knee or above you can kill them with 1 shot, I'm not 100% sure.

i tried this reciently, and it seems to work: put your controler setting to "Sailor" instead of "Recruit". With a higher turn speed and smaller deadzone, you can move your scope FAST. try it and youll like it

I have one someone might have already posted it but, if they are hiding behind somthing wall tower ect, call him out right away, like if hes a terrorist on sandstorm hiding behind the radio tower say, "theres a guy up there but i cant get a shot at him" this will help your teammates and you stay away from there and get into a better killing position.

also i recomend (if u can) always be proned when sniping i find that this "dumbs down the enemies" it makes them harder to find you, and it makes your scope ALOT more steady.

once more, try the m40a1, foxhunt terrorists sniping river i got 3 headsots in a row, with 1 bullet!, it killed 1 seal and two VIP's, its not a very strong gun, but boy is it accurate.

sniper boundries is nothing, it teaches you to sit and camp in one spot and wait for some1 to pass youre crosshairs, now sniper boundries abondoned and shadow falls thats fun.

Sujo is my favourite map for sniping as a terror, its just so easy with or without a thermal scope
