How to be a good sniper.

yea i know it is a one hit kill, but i keep seeing people say it's only a one hit kill of you hit them in the chest area, not in the arms and legs

you know i would say to train in bloodlake because that map is like THE best sniper map.. but it is not like people play on it anymore

This is true
I sniped someone yesterday (could've sworn I hit him in the chest)
He jerked to the side like he got shot
Then turned to snipe me
And we shot at the same time
He hit me in my arm and I lost anywhere from 25%-50% of my life
I hit him and dropped him

At least now I don't have to get so angry when I say "Dammit I shot that guy, what the hell?!?!?"

I've been using the Sr-25SD lately and i would like to recommend it to anyone who likes to use SD guns and likes to snipe. I don't see too many ppl use it. The gun only takes two shots to kill in the chest area and you can get caught with your rifle out and you can use the thing like a pistol. If you are good at headshots from a distance the you can take a couple of ppl out per round the only flaw is that a m82 or m40 will outzoom. I would also like to compliment every body that posted on this form there are some good tips in here.

i would just like to clarify (not being a know-it-all) that the SASR has a 10 round clip. I believe someone said it was a 7 round clip.

ah, the good o'le (spelling) sniping days. thats all i used to do, and without being cocky, i was glad to say i was one of the better snipers/pistol users out there in the cookie rooms, was rank 50,000 for awhile until rank up rooms came out, so i decided to have fun. i am shotgun all the way. even on nightstalker. i should clarify though, pump shottie only. but in order to snipe good, take a lesson in pistols. i loved pistols and would grab a rifle as a long range pistol. then i got into close range fights, and looked at the pump shottie as a close range pistol. hard to use both my long and short range pistol, so i dropped the rifle and am sad to say that i am no longer a good sniper, but i want to get back into it. just too hard these days.
