And there's a HUGE article on GoW2 in the new Game Informer magazine that was just released... the game sounds even more interesting to me now, after reading the multi-page article.

Now I'll probably have no other choice but to put a reservation down on the game.

My GameInformer just came in the mail today, but I haven't read the whole magazine yet. I usually read them while I'm dropping a deuce. I'll probably get to it in about two days.

The cover does look pretty sweet. Mine has Marcus on the cover, with the Lancer. I don't know what the other cover looks like, but it's probably a Locust soldier or something.

No man, I duece just fine. I usually pinch a loaf once a day.

I just read like everything in the magazine. I just only read the magazines when I make boom-boom. Unless I have nothing else to do. Then sometimes, I'll sit down and read. Reading, and duecing just go hand in hand with me.

Also, I don't think I read that fast.

Well, I read the article this morning, and I can say that I'm excited about this. I really think this is going to be better than the original. I didn't have a problem with the story in the original, so I don't know where all these videogame publications are coming from when they complain about it.

Gears Of War 2 looks awesome. But i don't know it has competition withHalo Wars coming out, Call Of Duty 5 coming out, and also games like Far Cry 2 anf all the new Tom Clancy games

I don't think Halo Wars will even begin to touch it. Really, as far as 2008 goes, in the release time for Gears, there is basically no competition for it. Once 2009 hits, there will probably be a lot more. After reading through the new info on the game I can say I'm excited for everything other than Locust Kantas (I despise reviving enemies in games) and the Locust specific execution of ripping someone's arm off and beating them with it (I didn't think Gears was Mortal Kombat).

Resistance 2 is going to be pretty hefty competition.

Oh, my bad, I didn't really specify enough in my earlier post. I meant that on the Xbox 360, in the shooter genre, there isn't going to be much competition, if any, for the game. But yes, other systems will have some games that will compete with it.
