Muscle Milk

I work landscaping and I want a good protein drink to fuel my muscles during the day and I want to try and bulk up a bit and a friend of mine said protein drinks are great for both.

I would of just went out and bought it but it has a "warning" label and says you should ask your docter before you take it. I do plan on doing that but I'm curious as to what other people think and their experiences with protein drinks and results.

Muscle Milk is good to drink and good for a quick and easy source of protein. More than likely the warning label is just because the ingredients used for the drink and the high protein. If you have certain conditions or are allergic to certain things then obviously this drink isn't for you.

I just did a quick search on the web and found why the warning label might be there for. "Do not freeze. Allergen Statement: This product contains ingredients derived from milk and soy."

Stick with Vanilla Cream or Cookies and Cream and you won't have to worry about bad taste.

I don't think I could ever buy a dairy product that is supposed to taste like soda.... or for that matter, anything that isn't a dairy product.

Root beer protein shake... I guess there are more gay body builders out there than I thought.

Be very careful with your choice. Protein shakes are pretty much fine, but its a very competitive market and some companies do put dodgy stuff in innocent products in order to get better results. If its made in the USA it will be safe but some foreign stuff can get away with different standards.

Its nice that you want to build a bit of muscle outside the gym, it feels a little like slavery to society when people spend hours in the gym every day... I've got an uncle who is a bricklayer, still working well into his sixties and very well muscled.

I tried this and tried the cookies and cream flavor. I wasn't a big fan of it because of how pasty it was.

You don't drink it as something to quench your thirst or or taste awesome, it's a protein drink and it will be pasty because of the high protein in it. That drink has one sole purpose, not 12.

Yeah I work 50 hours a week landscaping and I must *** all day long lifting things and such and I work with this kid wow is pretty jacked and he had this drink and he said it just fuels your muscles while you work them to help build mass. I'm 6 feet exactly and 160lbs so I'm not a stick but I'm no linebacker either. I figured if I could get a good work out with some muscle fuel and bulk up a bit the healthy way it would be worth it.
