Kidney Stones

So Thursday i was taken from school, in great pain, to a hospital where, after 5 hours, they found out i had kidney stones. They give me all kinds of drugs and said that i would pass them within 10 days. Well theres a concert tonight that i've had tickets to for over a month, i got them for my girlfriend on her birthday. So you guys think i should go, i havn't been in pain since i left the hospital and i would hate to miss this concert.

Yeah, plus i have these super pills they said to only take if im in bad pain

I dont know if your male or female. But if your male and one of those stones get stuck trying to pass through your _____... I hear its extremely painful.

But most of the time they pass through without you ever feeling anything. Most people dont even need the painkillers. I dont know why doctors always prescribe those for people with kidney stones. Usually its low to mild pain. Never extreme pain...except as I mentioned above which rarely occurs.

Just try not to think about what I said here and you should be fine tonight.

I couldn't imagine passing anything through your dude except what's normally supposed to be passed. Just thinking about makes it hurt.

If I ever get kidney stones, I don't know what I would do.

Sat here thinking about one shooting out of my ding dong just makes me cringe, I can't handle pain I have no control over.

Usually, I'm not sympathetic when it comes to people in pain, but this time I really feel sorry for you. Good luck.

A good friend of mine just had his second operation 2 days ago, after having kidney stone pains for 2 months. That stuff is said to hurt worse than child birth. (Though it usually happens to males, so how would they know?)

At first it wont bother you, except every so often you'll have really sick nauseating pains, then when it gets a little closer to being passed, it will be a constant pain and you will need all sorts of pain pills for it. My friend's stone was freaking 10mm so it was virtually impossible to pass so they had to go up and break it up to get it. Then they didn't get it all, and they had to go get some more about a week later... and after that he explained it as peeing fire. I think he's feeling better now, at least... for the first time in 2 months. Pretty ****** deal.

I couldn't imagine having to pass a mass through my member. If I ever had kidney stones, I seriously don't know what I'd do.

I was just reading about them, because I didn't know much about the whole thing, and I read that if you don't drink a lot of fluids it is more common to get them. I don't drink that often, and that got me nervouse as hell.

So, thanks for making me aware of this, and I am damn sure gonna increase my fluid intake

I'm glad I probably don't have to worry about this since I have to drink a gallon of water a day to lose weight for a MMA tourney this summer... I heard they hurt though, some worse than others. Just try not to think about it much, enjoy your concert.

You can also get them from eating a lot of spicy food (curry, hot chilies, etc) because they 'attack' the lining of your stomach. Because of this, I am probably due for one.

I also don't drink a lot unless it's a really hot day, which again will mean I probably due for a rock coming out of my . (Never made that reference before haha)

The drinking bit I can sort out, but I can't live without spicy food.
