Ok, Some of you know how sick I am. I've had a bad cold since Saturday, I missed school yesterday due to my illness, I went to school this morning but vomited during 1st period, so now I'm at home again. I've used both of my inhalers, took benedryl, Singuler, and then some. Anyone have some home remedies to get rid of the cold or help suppress it?

If I just open the windows for a few hours, my eyes itch like crazy / headache. Gotta love allergy season.

Be patient, Pollen levels will die down over the next few weeks.

Advil Cold and Sinus works wonders for me dude. That works better than Allegra or Claritin ever has.

I was going to take that this morning but we didn't have any. I'm going to ask my mom to buy some.

Alka Seltzer Cold works great. Try that or something called Airbourn. Both dissolved in water and work pretty fast.

This time of the year does suck, winter to spring is always the worst seasonal change that's hardest against allergies and colds.

Be wary of taking too much cold medicine or mixing things as it could have the reverse effect.

Also Pat a throat infection is sometimes a side-effect to singular. From personal experience I wouldn't take anything major as it should clear up in a few days.

I guess I'm just a regular old badass.

I don't get allergies... allergies get me.

I'd suggest eating something to clear out your sinuses. Like green onions, or green peppers. Perhaps some hot sauce, or baby hearts. Anything manly should do. Oh, and drink lots of fluids.

Today, I was feeling so fatigued and my legs hurt. So, I hope it does clear up soon.

Take this as gospel, and not just because it came from Pre.

I get hit every year with the same sinus junk going from winter to spring. 3-4 days on Advil Cold and Sinus clears it right up.
