Shoulder strength workout help

I injure the side of my shoulder yesterday, and the doctor told me to workout and build muscle to strengthen it. What I need is some good workouts for the side of the shoulder. I work out pretty hard 3 days a week because I train in Mixed Martial Arts, so any workouts I'll just fix into my regular workout. Thanks for any ideas!

Just do shoulder raises. Simple, easy, and not very strenuous.

^
Rotator Cuff Exercises -- familydoctor.org

---do exercise 3 standing up using a pulley system---> point of fact this exercise is done by ivan drago in rocky 4 during the training montagehe's strapped in standing up and pulling a hand bar from right to left---its a great exercise and made me a faster pitcher for baseball...

YouTube - Rocky IV Training Montage <----(this is a link to the training montage... the exercise I describe above is done from 00:36-00:44 seconds)

this is all you need to know about shoulders---

itll get you going and feeling great by march, but like anything thisll take effort and time to achieve...

Listen to TheDoctor

I had a slight tear in my shoulder my sophomore year. The school trainer just had me lay flat on a raised table and to various weight lifts, 3 sets of 10, increasing weight after time.

I started with 1 pound and it was a little uncomfortable, but obviously got easier over time and moved up to 2, 3, 4 and so on.

Three years later I have a lot of the strength back in my shoulder. I really don't notice any pain now, but if I move it too fast I'll feel a little uncomforted.

In my opinion, I would start with calethstenics and resistance band workouts, then gradually move to weights.

Yup! I started on calethstenics and am now gradually working my way into what Doctor told me to do. I had a HELL of a workout tonight. 3 hours of just muscle working, then finally got to my Mixed Martial Arts par of it. Total about 6 hours of workout... I'm gonna be dead tomorrow morning.

In my opinion the day after a great workout is always the best, just walking around with the pain is a great feeling for me, that's why I love lifting so much.
