Tips, advice, hints?
Ok, I was thinking about trying out for football next year for my high school (My senior year), I want to go out for QB as that's the only position I have a lot of skill in. My accuracy is nearly flawless but my power is really weak. I was wondering what kind of drills, workouts I could do to increase that, and what are the best kinds of foods to get me into top physical shape?
I'm 5'8, 130 Lbs incase these were your questions. I'm a small guy when it comes to body mass. I don't want all fat as obviously I want protein, what foods are high in protein?

You'd probably be a good short yardage receiver like Houshmandzadeh. He has good speed and great hands and the Bengals have a million plays that send him in towards the middle.
Agility isn't something I'm too good with. So maybe try some quick turns or some type of obstacle course.
Long distance running would improve your stamina and allow you to be a deep threat. A few miles a day.
Jumps is leg and ab strength. Squats, leg lifts, leg press, sit ups, and running. Just one season of cross country really gave my vertical a boost for volleyball. If I remember, I had a 19" vertical as 6 foot, 160 pound, white, freshman.

If this is your first time ever playing football, I don't think you should go out for QB. Their is a lot of stuff to learn. Especially being that it is your Senior year. The coach probably won't even give you a chance.

Well, all meats have protein. If you get ground beef just make sure its more on the lean side. Tuna would be a good choice as well. I've heard that dairy protein tends to go through the body a lot faster. Most of all though, I'd suggest you purchase protein shakes. Just buy one of those flavored expensive powdered mixes, it should have anywhere between 20-40 grams of protein (40 is the daily value). If you're more for the taste, there are a few really good Protein bars. Those usually cost a bit over a dollar, and give around 20 grams of protein. Don't forget about your carbs though, you're going to need the energy, the endurance. I hope this helps!

Want protein? I sure as hell hope you're not a vegitarian...
If your trying to bulk up go for the steaks more often. For anyone trying to loose weight, aim for plain chicken breast.
In any case, don't be afraid to eat carbs. They can really help you during work out routines, so long as they're not all sugar. If you want to go for the bulk up, eat carbs before a workout (don't eat too much or you'll vomit), if you want to loose weight either eat after a workout, or don't eat at all if you're not hungry.
