If anyone wants to know an exercise you could do for a certain muscle, just PM me. I know how to pretty much work out every single muscle you have.

Wow, almost no weight loss tips though
I'll contribute
Almost every diet "plan" out there is ********. They are complicated and require you to know the ingrediants of what you are eating.
But losing weight is extremley simple. Well, for fat that is. Thoughout this "mini-article", whenever i say "weight" I mean "fat mass". And when ever I say "calorie", I mean "Kilo-Calorie".
There is one basic rule that our bodies follow. If you take in less calories than you consume, you will lose fat. Dosent matter if you eat 1900 calories of fat and nothing else. If you consume or "use up" 2000 calories that day, then you will have 100 less calories of fat at the end of the day.
But how many calories a day will you use up? Well, you body will use a minimum amount of calories a day for puropses such as making your heart beat, breathing, etc. To find this number, use this equation:
Quote:
w * 12 =l
Code:
Where:
w= your body weight in pounds
l= the calories you burn by living
|
Keep in mind that the result is just an approximation. More muscell= More calories burned, but the amount is negligable.
After that, you will have to add up every exercise worth noting. Just use the calorie chart on the first page of this topic to estimate it.
Then it's just a matter of staying below that number.
But how much weight are you losing?
Well, a pound of fat is about 3600 calories. So if you use 250 calories more than you take in every day, you will lose 5 pounds in 72 days. Ouch. Try to jog to lower that, or just walk more often. Buy everything you can from a local store, preferably about a mile away from your house. Then once your in shape, start jogging along sidewalks or country roads. Remember to take a cell with you in case you get hurt or lost.
Here's some articles on how to lose weight:

By the way, creatine sucks. Premenant results are always better. Just do push ups, curl ups, and lift on a total gym or something with your arms. Also jog/run for you legs, don't lift for your legs unless your a sprinter.

I lifted for my legs when I did Track. It helped me throw further for shotput and discus. Lifting for that is great for getting that extra power in your throws. More so for shotput than discus. Discus is more of a momentum thing.

All I have is a weight bench and a bar. I curl and bench using pyramids.
By pyramids, I mean :
For example, I would bench
95 pounds 10 times, then
100 pounds 8 times
105 pounds 6 times
110 pounds 4 times
115 pounds 2 times
And as I get comfortable with that, I move up to a higher weight.

is the w * 12 =l thing true?
so if i weight 165 pounds i "automatically burn" roughly 2000 calories a day? Just by living?
Code:
165 * 12 = 1980 calories
