Anyone else into this? We did it every now and then in the Army but I just started doing it every day since I got out and moved home. Been kicking my ass but it's great. I plan to continue to do crossfit for a while and a few times a week when I get a regular routine down for my gym here. Working out was much easier in the Army lol.

Anyway if you guys have any workouts I'd love to hear them and give them a try. I got a few that I made up on my own that I can post if anyone is interested.

Did it back in hs for conditioning for rugby in high school, both before and throughout the season. Best shape I've been in in my life, it's pretty crazy stuff. I found it very hard to get motivated to do a session though without my team or other people there, but that's just my nature. Our coach was nuts and a conditioning freak but I'm sure your guys' was way worse lol

I know exactly what you mean about having a group with you. Obviously in the Army we don't do anything without at least a two man team and when doing PT it's never smaller than a squad size element (nine man). Anyway a group just makes it more enjoyable and competitive.

Yeah we did some pretty crazy shit for PT sometimes from crossfit to just crazy runs. One time my platoon sergeant was leading our platoon on a trail run through the woods. The trail was only big enough for a single file and he suddenly cut left straight into the woods. The pace had to slow a little due to the terrain and after a while we came to a large pond. Instead of going around he just jumped in and we swam across and continued running lol. Just shit like that that's only tolerable with a group of guys.

I love crossfit because it's an entire body workout in a short amount of time and really builds endurance. Show of overall fitness in my opinion.
