    A week or so ago, I woke up and just felt weird. I don't know how else to put it, I just felt weird. Since nothing seemed to be wrong, I turned over onto my stomach to go back to sleep, but as I did an extreme feeling of dizzyness hit me, bad enough to make me feel sick within seconds. Naturally, I wanted to get to the nearest toilet as quickly as possible, so I rolled out of bed, but I couldn't stand up. It felt like the world was rotating sideways. I was having trouble just crawling. The whole thing lasted at least 10 minutes, but it would feel like it was coming back again and again throughout the day. I thought it was just a one-time thing, but it happened again a few days ago. However, I was awake when it started. What I felt was static (that fuzzy static you feel on a dusty TV screen) in my head and behind my eyes. Anyone ever hear of this sort of thing?

    Im no doctor but doesnt the inner ear affect the sense of balance and equilibrium maybe you have some fluid or something. I had fluid behind my right ear once and it made me lose balance and such till it cleared up.

    Ive had that before when I was little, the static thing. I used to wake up in the middle of the night and that's all I could hear and seemed to be able to 'feel' it in my head. it made me scared of the dark for years but I don't remember ever having tests or anything, it just stopped.In regards to dizziness, I sometimes go dizzy to the point where I fall into if I'm stood up but that's usually when I've been up for a couple of hours but haven't eaten anything.There's deffinately an explanation behind it, I just don't know what it is.

    Could also be a sinus problem, I'd hit up a doctor and see what they say.

    I am. Was hoping that someone has heard of something like this to get an idea of what it could be, not what it is. Going to a Neurologist tomorrow (ENT can't see anything wrong with my ears, meaning the cause of my ear pain and the dizzyness could be neurological), but my level of confidence in the doctors over at the hospital I've been going to for the same problem for over 5 years is at an all time low.

    Went to the Neurologist on Tuesday. He gave me some stuff similar to Lyrica (he thinks it's some sort of Neuralgia). He said that if they were gonna work, it would be immediate. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Gonna call him back on Monday to try other stuff. What really pisses me off about the Native Hospital is that they want me to try all this new-age medicine (which I've already tried), but they refuse to give me anything that would actually stop the pain. Hopefully the Neurologist is right and whatever he prescribes next will actually work. Otherwise, if it's the Neuralgia he thinks it is and no meds have worked, they'll have to go into my head to fix it.

    Update
    =====

    Well, the first meds didn't work, so I went back on Friday and he prescribed Lyrica (those sleeping pills with the butterfly commercial) and said that if that didn't work, they'd have to fix it with surgery.
