I weigh 140-145lbs and I'm 6 feet tall. I always work out just to stay fit. I go running do abs, chest and arms. But I never gain weight. I drink a protein shake everyday after I work out (the powdered kind). I get a banana peanut butter and milk and blend it in the shake. I eat 2 meals a day with snacks in between.
I really would like to get to 160lbs ideally but my weight just wont go up at all.

I eat a lot of steak and chicken. I'm thinking about maybe doing muscle milk and protein bars too but I don't want to over do my body.

What are some good ways to gain good weight quick and easy? My friends told me to stop running but I don't run far I do a mile thats it and its more like a job then running.

I usually message GoPre for stuff like this but I haven't seen him on in a while.

If you want to gain weight (= mass), then you MUST eat 4-6 times a day. You won't gain a pound eating twice a day plus snacks.

What I mean by this is... you have to keep up your intake in order to keep up with your metabolism. You aren't feeding your body enough by eating so little.

You have a high metabolism. The only way to beat it is by taking in more calories then your body can burn.

I'd cut back on cardio a little bit and focus more on building mass. Cardio = calorie burner.

Eat lots.. but make sure you're eating the right things.

Take a serving a weight gainer right before bed man. If you're that desperate then it's all good. You don't seem underweight though considering you weight and height... You probably just make it into the normal category.

It's hard to eat 3 times a day lol, but I will try to start eating 4 times then.

I don't want to get fat I want to be toned, so thats why I'm afraid to stop jogging. But since everyone is suggesting it I guess I really shout.

I already take weight gainer every night before bed, I just started using muscle milk. It may not seem skinny but I don't know people always make comments to me "oh joe there you are I can barely see you." Its just really annoying.

You won't get fat. What? If you take in more than you push out, while working out at the same time, you will turn that into gain. Yes, you will gain a little weight in fat, but, if you're working out, that fat turns to muscle.

You're 6 feet tall and weigh 140 it's going to take awhile before you're fat man lol.

If you're working out on gainers it shouldn't turn into fat. You bulk up then cut if you wanna be tone/muscular.

Lol, yea your right, I was talking to some people at work and they said I should use the protein mix once in the morning then once after I work out. That seems like A LOT.

I know Mcdonalds will make me gain weight but it's also clogging every artery in my body, I also don't like 1000% of the daily sodium intake just on a large frie. lol

I couldn't gain any weight when i was your age either. When i turned 24 i started putting on weight now it sure as hell ain't a problem. When you get a little older even though you might not wanna wait that long im sure it won't be a problem.

Since I started this thread I lost weight..... I drink muscle milk every day work out every other day I stopped walking.. I drink nesquik (has like 350 calories) went to a sports bar and grill and ate a whole lot, been eating 3 meals a day when I usually eat 2 and I stepped on the scale today thinking I would be heavier and no... 139lbs.. I get on the scale the exact same way.

Since this thread this has been my meal plan.
-2 eggs + bacon with chocolate milk.
-Philly cheese steak or fast food. with muscle milk
    -Nesquik for a drink
    -Dinner with protein shake.
-Munchies time after some good shit... (taco bell run on some nights)

Granted this thread was started 4 days ago, I thought all this eating and drinking would have added something. I'm just going to keep up with it hopefully it turns around.

Celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving ten times a year...
I only celebrate Christmas once a year and it's working.

I don't think you should stop running, you know just to keep up with your health.
Just make sure your calorie intake is higher than you actually need.

    Normally it's 2,500 a day, make it 3,000-3,500.
+ A lot of muscle building exercises.
Seeing as muscle weighs more than fat, plus you'll look better.

Or...We can suck out my fat and put it in your body...:/ I'm around 200 at 6'5".

Your metabolism has gone intro overdrive because of the extra calories. It will straighten out soon.

I'm trying to gain weight myself. I've been working out at the gym but the only problem is since i started, i dont get as hungry anymore. So when i'm trying to eat its hard because i have to force myself to.
