They shouldn't be trying to be fair to both consoles. They should be pushing each of them to their limits in both graphics and content. So the PS3 version will look better. Whoop-dee-fucking-doo, it's supposed to look better. You don't take away from something that you know can hold everything you have planned, just because it all won't fit on the other version. Hey, you could make that a selling point for the PS3. Look at how much better FFXIII looks on PS3. BUY ONE BITCHES! Oh, and watch, if they release any DLC, it'll be available on the 360 first.

Not many... FF going online trying to compete with WoW wasn't the best decision.
I actually bought it 2 days ago. The game, plus every single expansion for $15 total. First month is free.
The game is actually quite good. P.S. FF11 came out before WoW. Dur. They started to turn profit in December of 2002. They probably have made a lot of money since then. Obviously not on the level of World of Warcraft, but profits are profits.
My brother played XI. It's amazing how many people still play that game, I played it for a little. Just like WoW it gets shitty towards the later levels, leaving people nothing to do but switch their jobs and level those up. Expansions do very little. It is a fun game overall though. The only thing that bothered me is how much you need to rely on other people to do stuff. Leveling up, finishing quests, all can't be done by yourself. You need so many different people to make up a decent party that it just gets annoying waiting in town for the right people.

note to self: almost every MMO is like this. One thing that FFXI does that differs is that it forces you to utilize parties and friends more often than any other game. But, if you don't like the Dunes (like me) you could just get someone to PL you to 20. Then you are pretty much set to where you don't have to wait for hours on end to just get a single party going, and when you do you usually have something else important to take care of. That is the only thing I really notice that is wrong with this game

Winter and Spring games is going to be a massacre...
Hopefully this game isn't all hype and disappoints like FFXII. Being a HUGE Final Fantasy person, I just hope they have extremely solid:
-Characters/Story
-Mixed Environment/Music
-More Epic Battles rather than FIGHTING. (Refer to Jenova(s) in FF7 and boss battles in FFX)
I always say, if devs don't learn from their past mistakes from previous games...their game does not deserve to be considered top tier caliber as they had hyped it up to be.
