What the hell is Samuel Jackson playing? The main and cool Avengers are Thor = White, Cpt America = White, Ms. Marvel = Woman and White, Iron Man = White, Hawkeye = White, The Hulk = White/Green .

The only person I can think of him possibly playing is The Vision and his role as Nick Fury was a fluke.

hmm....... somthing tells me that if the swatstica stayed on his chest, the ratings in the movie wouldnt go over soo well. and samuel l jackson would probly snap him in half and feast on his intestines.

Not only is that TOTALLY wrong since everyone knows Jackson is Ultimate Nick Fury, it's also totally ignorant of characters like Luke Cage, black Goliath, Black Panther and Falcon.

They are not part of The Avengers.



It was more of a joke anyone because it just seems that Sam Jackson is getting thrown into movies now just to spice things up for people to see. I like him as an actor but I was just pointing out my opinion.

I just got back from seeing it. I enjoyed it. I've never seen the fail version that came out a few years ago, so I can't compare, but it was pretty entertaining. They've been doing well with the Marvel movies lately, which is good. Keep an eye out for Stan Lee early into the movie. There are a few other cameos too.

The CGI hulk is a bit far fetched, but I didn't mind it too much, I prefer that than some cheap *** "real" effects, unfortunately.

He's a big green monster...What do you expect, they hired buffed up version of Matthew McConaughey to play the part..Not saying he couldn't....

WHAT.

Yes they are. Everyone I named has been a CARD CARRYING AVENGER. Hell, Luke Cage is part of the Secret Avengers right now.

I've read every issue of the Avengers ever, including one shots, West Coast Avengers, Mighty Avengers, and New Avengers.

And no. No human being can play the Hulk because nobody in the world is shaped like the Hulk.

ONTO HULK:

IT DIDN"T SUCK :3 And that's what we were aiming for, not sucking. Since it didn't that opens the doors for the Marvel Movie universe as wide as they can be.

That being said it was pretty good. Definitely better than anything Marvel Fox has made and better than Ang Lee's crap fest. A big good thing is that Hulk LOOKS like Hulk. Blonsky is enjoyable as the villain and there's definately a few good nods to the Marvel Universe. No extra cameos though, which I was hoping for.

I have NO ill feelings towards this movie. There are some stuff I felt could have been handled better, but nothing in the movie made me mad. Which is just more facts to back up that Marvel making their own movies is fantastic. And the final fight was pretty fun, definately better than Iron Monger vs. Iron Man.

My main issue was that I didn't think Hulk was Savage enough. I realize it's the hero version of the 616 Savage Hulk, but even then, he can get REALLY pissed. Hulk got pissed in the movie, sure. But I don't know, it just didn't seem like Hulk smashed enough.

All in all pretty good movie, but not as great as Iron Man was. Penn and Norton just can't write a comic book movie as good as the Iron Man team (in which the important part is it BEING A TEAM), and Jon Favreau just knows exactly what it takes to direct a super hero movie.

Another concern related to that is they didn't touch on the "Angrier he gets the stronger he gets" much. This is evident because Abomination is able to knock the wind out of the Hulk WAY too easily. Yeah, he's super strong too. Yeah, we need to feel for the hero. But come on. When Abomination hit Hulk with that huge hunk of rock on chains, Hulk shouldn't have gone "ohhh, I'm disoriented, I need to kneel down to regain composure", Hulk should have got "HULK ****ING SMASH YOU FOR THAT".

And No set of Avengers is as good as the original avengers and if an Avengers movie is made without the original Avengers than it's going to suck.
