Filming started last month in LA and will start today at the site of the abandoned Bethlehem Steel plant one town over from me. It's going to double as a fictional Chinese city. The city of Bethlehem wanted to get one more use out of the plant before it's complete destruction begins, as a casino has already begun construction on one side.

How the plant is going to double has a Chinese city is beyond me.

Filming will then go down to Philly and then somewhere in Georgia if I heard the new correctly.

Yeah, I read they were having casting-calls for extras in Bethlehem. I thought about checking into it but I have to save my time off for the fall.

I know of some people who went to audition. None got in as I think very few people if any did.

They picked a good day to do it though. I imagine less people showed compared to a normal day due to that huge bike race going on in Allentown.

Does anyone know what the general plot of the movie is going to be yet?

Giant robots fighting over some bullsh#t.

It's really unknown at this point. Bay said after the lessons he learned about fans & the internet on the first one, he's going to leak a lot of bogus info to throw people off.

I remember reading shortly after the movie ran its course at theaters, that the basic premise was going to be Starscream returns to Cybertron to claim power, Megatron loyalists venture to Earth to revive him, more Autobots show up, all hell breaks loose.

When I get home, I'm going to watch the first one. i never got around to it. Then when this one hits theaters I'll check it.

Because I just read online that there's gonna be a live action Transformers movie.

Not only is it awesome that there's gonna be a live action Transformers movie, I'm like, positioned or whatever with the best.. possible net handle and email address for when the movie comes out.

For a summer popcorn movie, it's not that bad. The visual effects are great and Megan Fox is hot enough to melt your TV screen.

I actually watched this last night at like 2 in the morning. I loved the first one, so hopefully they don't **** up the second one. Megan Fox is gorgeous.
