They put "Based on a true story" They can go make a move about me going to work but I get sucked into a black hole on my way there and call it "Based on a true story" becase in fact I did go to work so it is based on a "true story" get what I'm saying? That means nothing.

The perfect storm that is much more "true story" based than any othe rmovie I have ever seen.




I want to hear this ending. I will never see the movie I want to know why it sucked. I will change the thread to spoilers.

MAJOR SPOILAGE AHEAD

The ending was just a family of three people in masks tying the couple up to chairs and taking turns stabbing them in the stomach. They then drove away and passed two little boys who were handing out religious fliers (sp?), and asked for one. The two boys then stumbled upon the house which looked like a wreck and found the couple lying there in a pool of blood. One boy went over to the woman to see if she was alive and she wakes up and screams.... THE END.
Yeah... it sucked pan.

Tell me more of this murderous family. Did they give the vibe that they were returning to their normal life in the suburbs after their misdeeds ? Or were they inbred sex crazed mutants ?
I don't care if I know what happens , spoilers and such. What matters to me is how's everything's done and the realism.

The thing is, you hear one of them talk once throughout the whole movie. And that's because she is asking for a flier (sp?) from that little boy. When they drive off in the end, you have no idea if they are just serial killers or they are just after that specific couple. They give you NOTHING.

So the family gets brutally murdered and the bad guys get away and two young boys find the people dead. Awsome movie.

I read the entire plot for the movie online instead of seeing it because I was never that interested to be honest. I might rent the movie sometime just to see it for the heck of it. The "based on true events" part of the movie didn't really make me want to see it just because it was also said that "the events that took place are still not entirely known", which to me basically translates to "Some stuff happened in this one place, but as for this movie, we basically made it up".
