Star Wars: Clone Wars *cartoon*
I just saw this on Yahoo. It looks both decent and somewhat poor. As much as I love Star Wars, the style of cartoon they are using looks dumb. I like the PIXAR idea, but not the way they made the characters look.
But I will still definitely see this since I love anything and everything Star Wars.

I remember they had one similar to this, but it was basically cartoon animation held on Cartoon Network. I really enjoyed that one. I'm assuming this is the same, just different storyline and a upgrade for graphics.

Gendy Tartovsky's Clones Wars episodes on Cartoon Network we're really good and in some cases better than the live action prequels, which I can't even bare to watch anymore. This will be good also being that Lucas is once again not directing or writing the script.
I'll probably check it out. I'm not a big fan of this new style of animation. I wish that they would go back and do Knights of the Old Republic stories.

Right on. I watched episodes 2 & 3 a couple weekends ago on Spike, and I just sat there in awe at how bad they actually are. The script and acting is just atrocious after the first one.
This new flick looks to be worth the price of admission. I really liked the cartoon series, and it'll be interesting to see how it translates into CGI.

Yea, I remember watching the ones on Cartoon Network like a few years back before Episode 3 hit theaters. I was pumped for that movie so the cartoon held me down till then. I'm going to check this cartoon out though, need to judge it for myself.

Watching the Clone Wars on Cartoon Network actually made Revenge of the Sith a better movie in my opinion because you had some extra back story to support the movie.
What I don't get is why are they so intent on doing story lines between Attack of the Clones ( Episode 2) and Revenge of the Sith ( Episode 3 ) for such a flawed triliogy. I'd really like to see them do some animation between Empire and Return of the Jedi also.
I downloaded Robot Chicken Star Wars on my 360 a couple of months ago and I still can't get enough of it. I have a new favorite part everytime I watch it.
The actual TV series comes out in 2010 I can't wait to see if they sink or actually expand the franchise from there.

Episode I was great. Episode II and III could have been much better. But it wasn't because the guy who played Aniken was terrible at acting.

Joke right? In my opinion it was the worst of the new trilogy. As for the new movie, I think it looks interesting. It will be among one of the movies Ill definatley see this summer.

Episode I, story and acting, is probably the best of the prequels. Episode II is absolute garbage, and Episode III is only entertaining for all the fight scenes.

It's hard for me to consider that a cartoon when compared to what I watched when I was growing up. It's amazing how far things have come in terms of graphical presentation.
August 18th will definitively be marked on my calender for this movie. It actually looks like it's going to be pretty entertaining.

Yea, Obi-wan looks a bit weird as does Count Dooku (if that indeed was him in the trailer for a couple of seconds).

Yea, and Yoda looks like a green mouse with large puppy eyes. But the story should be interesting. I'm sure watching this will get me even more pumped for the release of Force Unleashed.
