They are already making a new Bond film. They usually wait a year or two before making another...

Yeah I knew that they were making two in a row because they said they started filming right after the last one. I don't recognize the name but I hope its better than the last one.

Yea I heard about this a while ago. Unlike other Bond films, this begins where the last one left off.

I watched my Casino Royale blu-ray a few days ago and for the first time I didn't get bored midway and turn it off. First time I cared enough to follow the story also.

I can't wait to see the new one but Daniel Craig makes for a ****** Bond.

I tried watching Casino Royale 4 times on DVD and fell asleep eveyrtime. Now I watch bits and pieces of it on Cable and it's pretty good. I dig Craig as 007. I'll check out the flick fo sho if nothing else is playing at the Cinema.

Craig isn't all that bad as Bond. Timothy Dalton and Roger Moore were pretty crappy.

I still prefer Pierce Brosnan as the modern-day Bond over Craig though.

Timothy Dalton was easily the worst one. You should see him now though, he has no money, no job, and looks like a total bum.

The best one is Brosnan though. He added a working class hero feel to the series. He wasn't always seen as indestructible in the films unlike the other Bonds.

I think the main reason I didn't really like Casino Royale is because it's not really a Bond film. Gadgets, cars, and thick British accents define Bond films. The closing thing to a gadget in CR was the life saver thing in his car, the car chase scene was short, and John Cleese wasn't there to add his great accent and comedic value. Casino Royale was just your average action movie, not a Bond film.

Connery will always be the best bond, nuff said.

Despite my original doubts about Craig, I think he pulled the part off really well. Though I have not seen Casino Royale since it was in theaters, I remeber liking it alot more then the over the top Die Another Day. Will definatley be looking forward to the new one though, whether it comes out this year or not.

Well you have to remember that Casino Royale was originally supposed to be the first Bond film that Flemming wrote. It turned into a weird spoof that sucked.

He didn't have gadgets or any of the normal Bond stuff because it was intended to be when Bond first becomes a double-oh agent. It's not like the other Bond films where it goes from one mission to the next in order. They went back to redo what was supposed to be the first Bond film. Dr. No is techincally the second film, but the original Casino Royale is nothing near a Bond film, so they played off Dr. No as the start of the serious Bond series rather than the spoof it started as.

I always thought george lazenby was the worst bond. Good thing he was only in one movie. I thought casino royale was pretty good. I'll probly be getting this one on dvd too.

The "bond girls" aren't very good this time around. Eva Green ressurected as a zombie would still beat Olga in a swimsuit competition.

But even so, written by the same men who wrote casino royale so it will be a good film.
