Well it did not top the ****** episode but it was a good season opener. Can't wait to see what they got in store for next week.

yeah, usually the season opener is mind boggling.. It was so-so.. I wonder if they were trying to make fun of that clinic in las vegas that infected so many people with Hep. C. |

I felt the same way about this seasons opener as I have about the last few seasons. There some small highlights of very funny parts, but none of this compares to earlier seasons (4-7). I think its fine when a shows trys to push the envelope like SP has on many occasions, but theres a difference between forcing it, and being clever with it. When I look at last seasons opener I see an episode where they thought "what word can we say a bunch to get a reaction from people without having to be clever about it". That type of episode will never compare to somthing like Christian Rock Hard or Scott Tenorman Must Die, because in these episodes and other earlier ones, it was not just about pushing the envelope, it was about pushing the envelope in a way that made sense.

I was a little disappointed with this seasons opener. I was thinking it was going to have something to do with something in the news headlines, like mock the election. But it was a good episode, definitely could have been better.
