What did everyone think of the premiere? I thought it was great, it set up so many different things all at once. I don't even know what to think, I just get so anxious for the next episode. I'm not sure if I want to see who the "Oceanic 6" are or who the people on the freighter are more.... but I'm betting I find out who's on the freighter first, obviously.
By the way, something I just watched for fun, it's an 8 minute wrap-up of what happened in seasons 1-3, it's pretty good if you might have forgotten something. Obviously it's not fully detailed, but it's solid.
Oh, and I really hope Jack doesn't say he is himself to this mystery man that just landed, that's quite obviously not a rescue mission.... one man parachuting onto an island.

I thought it was a decent start, though a few minor gripes:
*Kate stealing the phone for no particular reason, and then Jack never saying jack about it.
*Locke running around just fine despite a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
*Perhaps it's just my own ignorance, but how do people "eject" from a helicopter? Wouldn't the spinning overhead blades present a problem?
It'll be nice to see the story progress in a direction, considering they now have an ending in sight. If it's one thing this series has suffered for, it's plodding aimlessly withought direction (polar bears, smoke-thing and Michael leaving on a boat).
theres direction... the polar bears were from the dharma joint... IE: the cages.... the smoke thing and the whole Jacob thin lead me to believe that the end is no where in sight....I do not like the fact that jack is still bad *** but o well... and he didn't eject he just jumped out....
Lost is really good this season, two of the guys just got off the island and to find out the indian looking dude with long hair was working with ben all along, incredible, whats next a monster attacking everyone?
Thats quite possible from what i'm seeing right now, the black smoke is really starting to make me anxious for them to reveal exactly what it is.
Yeah, I think he works with him starting after they get off the island.
Anyone else notice how one of the guys told the helicopter pilot to stay on a specific bearing? First off, was it the same bearing that they told Michael to go on when he boated off? (By the way, when do we find out what happened to him and Walt?) Also, was it just me, or did it look like the helicopter pilot went off course?
Anyone else notice how one of the guys told the helicopter pilot to stay on a specific bearing?
Yeah I caught that too.
I figured it was due to the mishap with the "payload" not arriving properly, as though something was interfering with guidance systems around the island. Since the helicopter was so low on fuel, his advice to follow the original heading was probably so that it did not get lost and crash.
The whole payload thing makes me think that they're in some sort of timeslip or something. It reminded me a lot of Back to the Future when Einstein comes back with the stopwatch around his neck, hehehe.
