I'm interested to hear what everyone's favorite soundtrack is? Mine would have to be "We Were Soldiers". I listen to it every night while I'm falling asleep. It's great if you just want to listen something soft.
I haven't seen lost in translation, even though it is on the list, but I agree with bob 100%. I cant think of any better movie soundtrack right now.......... besides maybe No Country......
EDIT: good bad and the ugly, blues brothers, .... yeah thats it
The one I listen to most lately is actually the soundtrack of a book by Nikki Sixx, called The Heroin Diaries... the album is by his new band, SIXX:AM.
I also like The X-Files Soundtrack and Cruel Intentions, great rock singles on those...
Oh, can't forget O Brother Where Art Thou? and The Big Lebowski!
Lost in Translation was great too... I love Air's Lost in Kyoto.
And although I'm not big on rap, I've always been impressed with RZA of Wu-Tang. His work on the Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai was great.
