Don't you have a cell phone that can record video? You should definitely show that off.
E, buy a cheap one off of eBay and get at it.

Nah, my Cell phone is a pretty old one and it can only do photos :(. I'll probably be getting a new one for my birthday, hopefully, but eh.
E., Epiphone makes pretty decent 100-150 dollar acoustics (Thats pretty cheap for guitar). My friend has an Ibanez acoustic, and it sounds amazingly clean, I don't know how much it costs though..I'm assuming 200.
But for a 100 dollar acoustic, just look into Epiphone or one of the less mainstream brands.

Best Acoustics- Martin, Taylor, Fender, Gibson
If you want an acoustic more towards the less expensive side, go for a fender.

Major Bumpage
Currently, I'm deciding between these three guitars.
Epiphone Les Paul
Epiphone SG
Ibanez RG4EXQM1
I'm leaning more towards the SG, I played one yesterday and it felt more comfortable but I'm still on the fence.

If you're going to get a Les Paul or an SG, don't settle for an Epiphone. Get a Gibson. It's just not worth it. It's like going out with a really hot girl who won't even kiss you.
And you said you enjoy A7X, so if you want to play more along the thrash or metal, get the Ibanez, the pickups in that guitar are crazy and will sound amazing.

The Ibanez I played Thursday and Today sounded awesome. Today, I hooked one up to a distortion pedal with a 75 watt Line 6 amp and just sounded awesome. I may go with the ibanez. I'll let you guys know what I chose when my insurance check comes in.

For you, I'd go with the Ibanez. I think you'll get better results for what you're looking to do.
And as Kevin said, don't get a Les Paul unless it's a Gibson.
