My friend showed me this short, live action version of Halo. The director of this clip is supposed to direct the actual Halo movie as well. It's pretty good.
That wasn't that bad at all. I was expecting soemthing really stupid, but that was decent.

Well this was just an experimental video that the director made. It won't be axactly like this. I think it will be interesting. I hate Halo, but I love the storyline. The books were pretty damned good too.
Admittingly I don't know all the ins and outs of the Halo lore, but I do like the general premise.
That video's great. I think the grittyness gives it realism. If the Halo movie ever does get made, I hope it has that same tone. I hate super-polished Hollywood blockbusters. They're just crap.
I thought it was cool seeing all the weapons showcased.
