Hot Damn !!! I just found out that my Microphone wielding Hero and Man of 1,000 voices , Mike Patton will be doing the voice work and screams for the creatures in I Am Legend . Mike Patton was at one point the Frontman for Faith No More & Mr. Bungle and is currently in other bands such as, Fantomas, Peeping Tom & Tomahawk.
Mike Patton also did the voice work of the Evil in the Video Game The Darkness that was released earlier this year.

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am to see this movie now. Holy **** !!

WOOHOOO! I was the first VGF-er to see this!

But anyway, I wish I had more hands, so I could give this movie 4 thumbs down.


The WHOLE movie was good, EXCEPT for the last 15 minutes, and for me, the ending in a movie is what makes a good movie a good movie.

Ok, like I said, the ending was ******. Throughout the whole movie I was thinking that he was going to find someone still alive, and they would make babies and the movie would end. I was wrong.

So, here's the terrible ending;

He tries too kill himself, and fails. Some sexy Latina-survivor finds him and cooks him breakfast and tells him about a survivor camp. 10 minutes go by and the creature things start to attack the house they're in. They get blown up, then some more come. Will and the hot Latina-survivor and her son(forgot to mention that earlier, but it isn't important) go into the basement/lab and more creatures come. Will puts the hot latina-survivor and her son in a box to protect them then he runs into a crowd of the creatures with a grenade killing himself and the creatures. 2 seconds go by and the hot latina-survivor and her son go to the survivor camp in Vermont.

The end.

Watch the original or the book, and your opinion on the movie will change completely. The movie should have had atleast an extra half hour to it because they left some important elements out which could have helped it out a lot. It's not a bad movie by all means, I really enjoyed but I know some people who didn't and that's just because it wasn't anything that people were expecting. A lot of people expected it to just be just Will Smith kicking *** the whole movie, but while does have this, it is another movie that points out the flaws in humanity.

I doubt it. My opinion on the move will be the same, regardless of some differences in the book.

My opinion is this; it was a good movie, but the ending killed it. Like I said in my above post, the ending makes a good movie a good movie, or vice versa. In this case, the ending made a good movie a bad movie.

I actually liked the whole movie.

I wish they would have kept the dog alive lol, it was too sad because he never really caught a break the whole movie besides where the women saves him.

I thought this movie rocked. I think it was one of Smith's best performances to date, he was incrediable. As for the ending i didn't mind it. Nevielle (Smith) found a cure for the pandemic, and gave it to the women to bring with here to the survivor camp before he blew himself and the rest of the "creatures" away.

Saw it earlier today. It was good enough. Having been to NYC several times, it was quite surreal how well they made it look like no man's land.

I thought it was kinda lame how they gave the vampires a sense of society (by having a leader calling the shots and setting traps), but didn't explore it too much. That could've been interesting.

I too also thought that Smith's character dying was lame. Having the hero die is only cool when the villian is likable. Here we're talking about mindless vampire zombies beating a badass black guy with a soft spot for Bob Marley. I mean, come on.

Having the Empire win in Star Wars would've been more enjoyable.

The Dark Knight trailer was badass though. Can't wait for that.

I'm sure I beat you, I just didn't post about it. ;) I saw it opening night and really liked it. As everyone else is saying, the ending was kinda dissapointing. I like the idea though. It was a very depressing movie.
