My top 12 are Alizée and tied for 12 is Mama Kin by Aerosmith. The next non-Alizée track is All Guns Blazing by Judas Priest at 26.

I would definitely reccommend you pick up one of their albums. Make sure it's the original Skynyrd. I don't know how much you know about their history, but after a show one night, the band boarded their plane, headed for another city. The plane crashed, killing several members and staff, along with the lead singer, Ronnie Van Zant. Ronnie's little brother, Donnie, was the lead singer of .38 Special and is now with the new Lynyrd Skynyrd band, which includes some of the old members that survived the crash.
Anyway, I like most, if not all, of their songs, but especially listen to Simple Man, Gimme Three Steps, Tuesday's Gone and Call Me The Breeze. Awesome songs.
Radio, the first song in your list explains how I feel with your obsession.

Yes, I know about their history, lol. I used to be obsessed with classic rock.
I'll just get it on iTunes. I don't buy hard copies of anything anymore.

I wish I would have known that before starting, lol.
Let me know what you think of those songs.
Nearly all of their songs are based on real experiences the band members (mainly Ronnie) had, or are feelings to them, such as Free Bird. The Gimme Three Steps story really happened to Ronnie, which almost ended in him being killed.
*Wonders if you already knew this, too... Damn!*

Haha naw I didn't know that. I don't really pay attention to stuff like that. I just listen to the music and enjoy it.

If you're going to give any band a chance at listening (or reading) the lyrics, definitely give Skynyrd that chance.
Perhaps it hits me more because I can relate to some of the stories more, I don't know. When you really listen (or read) what is being sung, it's pretty powerful.

Who would have thunk this thread would have turned into a discussion on Lynyrd Skynyrd? Hijacking bastards.

Hey hey hey... all fingers point towards Scuba. It all started with a spelling mistake that he simply just had to correct, lol.
