30 Days of Night
I've been looking forward to this movie for a long time now. Based on a graphic novel 30DoN is about an Alaskan town that is in total darkness for a period of 30 days which makes it a popular vacation spot for Vampires.
This movie is supposed to add new life to the Vampire genre an is also said to be really intense on the gore.

It sounds very cool but isn't there a movie exacly like this that just cam out? I will probably go and see it.

I saw the preview while at Res Evil and at first though "Snore. Im seeing the same thing now" but not only is the song ill in the last 1/3 of the preview
"Apocalypse Please" (i think, its on my comp somewhere), but this is a whole different twist of crazy vampire shizzit. Sick concept, I think this will be an ill movie.

I've also been looking forward to this movie for a while now, i downloaded the trailer on my PS3 a few months ago and i havent been able to get enough of the previews... looks great, supposed to be sneaking in the night it comes out... haha

i just think it was pretty creepy how that vampire leans down to that girl after she says "oh god!", and he calmly whispers, "no God". haha thats good enough for me to go see this.

Even though I was going to this movie anyway , when I saw that part it changed from me going to see it sometime to, going to see it on Friday.
I'm looking forward to Ben Foster's character as The Drifer. He's got movie villian of the year so far for his awesome role in 3:10 To Yuma

So I saw 30 Days of Night on Friday and thought it was mediocre. It's easy lose conception of time because the movie does go the 30 day course and it's dark throughout the whole movie. The action was fast and hard to watch, but the overhead shots made for some cool filming. Towards the finish of the movie the ending felt kinda rushed and I was little dissapointed. I am going to pick up the graphic novel after seeing this movie. It must be a good read.
However, and not to spoil, but the movie does contain the best Removal of a Head ever to be filmed ever in cinema and I challenge someone to top it. It would be nearly impossible.
Best horror movie of the year still goes to 28 Weeks Later
