New TV Shows/Series
I saw the premier of House tonight, but I missed Heroes last night because I never made it home and I don't have a DVR anymore. Hopefully I can catch it online... Lost is another anticipated one, but that's not starting til February, I believe. I am not very interested in the new season of 24, unfortunately, unlike i've been in prior years. Last season was horrible.
Otherwise, I've been loving the new seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Weeds on HBO. It has been really crappy trying to watch TV though because I don't have any cable for the time being (shut it off since the summer because I found it was a major waste of money... still don't know if I'll put it back on or not.). Luckily some people love me enough to record those cable shows for me or I'll download them.
I really don't have much time to do other things lately because of school so TV is a nice break from the books. Otherwise, I really truly detest the existence of television. So yes, I'm a bit hypocritical!
I've noticed a bunch of brand new shows trying to start up... some of them look pretty interesting. Anything noteworthy?

I wish they would put on a worthy Sci-Fi show to replace Stargate SG-1 and Farscape, but alas, no one is interested in those type of shows anymore.

Your post boldly presumed there was interest in those type of shows to begin with... that's why they ended up on a catchy network like Sci-Fi!
(Just kiddin with you. I'm sure it was amazing. I wouldn't know.)

I haven't watched a the 3rd season of Weeds :tastesyu: yet because I haven't watched all of Season 2 yet on DVD. I have to admit I'm curious to see the how the Olsen Girl fits in and does on the Show.
Mary Louis Parker is Hot Hot Hot.

New series of Prison Break is pretty good too.
I watched the first epidoe (season 3) a few days before it aired here and I wasn't really sure whether it's worth my DVR space, but when I watched it again on TV I couldn't believe I even questioned myself.
Episode 2 is buffering right now.
Heroes is quite good too but I only watch it when im at my other Uncles because he is a sci-fi fan. I like to watch it but I dont really bother making an effort to see it.
I think that's pretty much all thats new here that I know of. The new series of Ross Kemp on Gangs is starting next month (he isn't really known in the USA) which looks promising aswell.

Actually, this is one of the very few shows I have ever watched not from the beginning. I've only recently started watching the new season, and got some background info on the characters and I still really like it. The plot is so great!
I just got myself a new TV and I am really wanting to hook up some HD cable to it again... or I could justify living a few more months without it and putting that cash towards getting myself that Elite 360 I've been trying to get forever now... if only things were free in this world...
I still haven't caught up on Heroes. Hopefully the episodes remain streaming online for a while... I need more TV watching discipline.

I watched some Weeds when I was in California this summer, I liked it. But I don't have Showtime or whichever channel it's on so I can only watch the dvd's or try and find a torrent.
I don't watch House regularly because it's so ****ing repetitive. I love the sarcasm but it's just so bloody boring to watch the same episode with different dialogue every week.
Never got into Heroes, I watcched the first few episodes and stopped.
Prison Break is good so far. They're back in prison -_-
24 I would watch for entertainment, it's an entertaining show.
Lost is the only show I can 100% guarentee I will be at home sitting down to watch every week whenever it starts. Other than that, I'll download Prison Break and probably not watch anything else I mentioned. I just don't have the time to watch that much tv anymore.

I never really got into Lost, 24, or Prison Break.
I love Weeds, Hero's, The Wire (Which is coming back for 1 more season) and I'm liking K*Ville so far. Oh yes, and Friday Night Lights starts up again this week.
Also, I watch Saved by the Bell before I go to class when I can. But they are all reruns lol.
I don't have much time also but we got a DVR, so I just watch tv after I get home from work or the days when I get like 3 hours in between classes.

I used to love watching 24, but the show just crumbled to the ground after the second season. The developers did too many things to the show that I really didn't care for which caused me to lose interest for the most part.
I tried to watch an episode of Heroes, but I had no idea what was going on. I guess it's one of those shows that you have to watch from the very first episode to understand the whole concept. I'll just have to catch up through the season DVD's.

I'm liking K-Ville. The pilot was really good. I'm really looking forward to this season.
I actually kinda like The Kill Point, seeing as it's filmed in Pittsburgh.
