I must say I was totally in the wrong about my initial reaction of casting Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. I had no idea that Marvel released an Alternate Universe Comic Series where the Alternate Character of Nick Fury was modeled after Samuel L Jackson.



I was conviced that Marvel was shooting for another character mistake like when they used Michael Clark Duncan for the role of The Kingpin in the Daredevil Movie. That was awful.

This movie was worth the hype and praise. I'm glad I got to see it on opening weekend and I had a damn good time too.

There were some good trailers for Iron Man too. By any chance did you guys catch the trailer for the Love Guru starring Mike Myers and Jessica Alba? I thought it looked pretty funny, its got a very distinctive Mike Myers feel to it. I found the trailer on youtube: YouTube - The Love Guru - Trailer 2

Wow, really? Ultimate Fury has been out for almost ten years now. Ultimate Fury was actually modeled AFTER Sam Jackson, so the casting is perfect.

I've drifted away from comics for quite some time now. So I got some catching up to do. First order of business is to check out that Marvel Zombies series I recently heard about as well. Artwork looks amazing

Like, I read every issue of Avengers to ever be released, including West Coast, New, and Mighty.

...about Iron Man, it was pretty much the best comic book super hero movie ever. Loved it. Marvel needs to get back ALL of their characters so they can just make the movies.
