'GTA IV' could keep 'Iron Man' audience at home - CNN.com
Anylists are predicting Iron Man's sales will suffer because people would rather sit home and play GTA. I think I can put down the controller for 3 hours out of my life to go see a good movie. If anyone on this forum is going to wait for Iron Man to come out on DVD, just because you want to get more GTA time in please let me know.
So, far Iron Man is getting some pretty good reviews.

Wow, so glad you posted, I'd completely forgotten that this came out tomorrow.
Not only will I be stepping away from GTA for a few hours to see it, I'm also moving a planned recording session from tomorrow to tonight just so that I can go see it.

I'm going to lock up shop early at 3:30 and run across the street for the 4 O'clock showing tomorrow ( Friday ). I want to get there early. I'm sure they'll show some good upcoming previews with this movie. |

The movie was nonstop awesomeness. First 2/3 were setup, which is expected for an origin movie, but it's done very well. The last 3rd is some great action.
Every actor is great too. I was very impressed with the writing, acting and directing of this movie. It's in the realm of quality as Batman Begins, though it's more on the comic book end of the spectrum instead of the grade A drama end.
Special effects were amazing too.
Definite must-see.

I really enjoyed Iron Man. I totally agree with everything OME6A said. Great script , good effects and pretty damn good for an origin story.
Nice start to the Summer movie season.
If you stay until after the credits there's an extra scene with Samuel L Jackson which I think is a bad choice for his character, but Samuel has to stick his **** in everything.

Just got back from seeing it, and like everyone else is saying it was great. Only thing I could really add to what everyone else is saying is it had some pretty good laughs. Definitely go see it.

When I first saw previews for it I though, great another super hero movie, but after seeing it, it's probably the greatest Marvel comic turned into a movie. Better than Spiderman in my opinion. I liked Stan Lee's cameo too. It's one of those movies that captured everything almost perfectly. Robert Downey, was the perfect role for Tony Stark too. Too bad they couldn't make a good Dare Devil movie. The new Hulk looks good too Edward Norton is perfect for Bruce Banner as well.
I am a little skeptical about the new Captain America movie that's supposedly in the works. I always thought Captain America was lame.

I'll probably go this tomorrow. It looks great and from what's been posted, it will be.
A Captain America movie? Casting will be tricky for that.
