Alone in the Dark II
Get to ready to um, cry. This news was recently posted:
Bloody-Disgusting was scooped this evening that Rick Yune (Fast and the Furious, Die Another Day), Lance Hendriksen (Pumpkinhead, Aliens) and Ralf Moeller (Far Cry, Postal, Seed) have all been cast in Uwe Boll's Alone in the Dark 2, the sequel to the theatrical flop from last year, which is going straight to video. We're also told the film will involve a group of "witch hunters" tracking down a witch named Elisabeth Dexter. The film begins shooting August 6 in LA and NY. So tell me, how excited are you?!
After the disappointing Slater/Reid original, do not expect this to be better. If anything, it can only be worse.
Why are they using a Chinese guy to play Carnby? In the games, Carnby is depicted as a seriously bitter American type with no regard for anything besides solving a case, ala Fox Mulder. So this "Rick Yune" guy is so gonna look miscast here.

I suspect Grace is a 112 year old man operating from a recycled Commodore Vic 20 in some small room in a Fortune Cookie Factory.
Uwe Boll is the new Ed Wood of this Century. His movies are all terrible for the most part. He's mostly been focusing on Video Game Movies which are doomed from the start anyway.
Alone in the Dark was so laughably bad, it baffles me as too why someone would actually fund a sequel let alone even go see it.

Understood, but a discussion about a sequel to Tara Reid horror movie deserves no attention.

I had no clue what Alone in the Dark was, so I googled it and looked at some picture, and now I know where Grace got his/her name and pictures from :)
