ice road truckers
any1 watch this show on Sunday? It just started last week. It comes on at 10 on the History channel. Its pretty interesting!
"The History Channel embarks upon an unparalleled adventure revealing the virtually unknown occupation of ice road trucking, considered to be one of the world's most dangerous jobs. ICE ROAD TRUCKERS charts two months in the lives of six extraordinary men who haul vital supplies to diamond mines over frozen lakes that double as roads. The livelihood of many depends on these tenuous roads, which through the years have been responsible for the deaths of dozens of men."

I've seen countless commercials for it.
To be honest, it looks pretty boring. It seems exaggerated too much.
In the commercial, someone says that it is the most dangerous job on the planet. Yeah, I smell an exaggeration.

it would be pretty damn scary to drive a 18 wheeler with a big load on 24 inch thick ice( i think thats how thick they said the ice was) not knowing if the ice is weak or not.
im deff gonna continue watching the show

I'm not saying the truck drivers have a day at the park doing their jobs, I'm just saying it sounds like it's exaggerated too much. I could list several jobs that are a lot more dangerous than what they do.

They said it's "one of the most dangerous jobs." The most dangerous job title went to crab fishermen.

Again, with the crab fisherman (Deadliest Catch), I could list several jobs more dangerous.
In the commercial, it said it is the most dangerous job.
As I said before, I hope everyone understands that I am not saying their jobs are easy or without danger, I am just saying it is over exaggerated.

Well that's how they capture viewers' attentions.

how are any of these "over exaggerated"
hmm driving a 18 wheeler with a huge load on a road of ICE with white out conditions..
Crab fishing looks pretty dangerous to me..one wave can just sweap any1 off the boat and as seen on the show a few people fell in

Again, none of you are reading my posts. I am not trying to say they do not have a hard job, I'm only saying it's not the most dangerous.
Look at the commercials and tell me it's not exaggerated.
