I finally got to see it and I walked away quite happy. It sure did have some questionable plot holes but the action was non-stop balls to the wall. The helicopter field swoop scene gave me rage in my schlong. Without a doubt one of the greatest blood bath scenes I have ever scene in a movie. I can't wait for the 3rd one when we get to see........
**SPOILER ALERT**
..................all the frogs and hairy pitted stink bombs holding onto their croissants for dear life. There has to be a scene where some skank gets the virus from an overactive bidet. Oui Oui!!!

I went and saw it the weekend it came out..I thought it was really good, it's like the action never really stopped. (atleast not for that long of a period). It was intense, kept me on the edge of my seat, the helicopter scene was sweet, and the ending was cool I thought.
Can't wait for the next one.

That movie was amazing. I can' wait until the next one, 28 months later, comes out. I am a big fan of Zombie movies. Everyone leaves me amazed.

DVD for 28 Weeks Later came out today. I've already watched the Helicopter Salad Scene 3 times. This was one of the best movies this year and easily without question the best Horror movie of the year . And now it's even better because I can pause and rewind now.

That helicopter scene is better than consistently banging a hot mute chick.
I just picked it up today along with Wrong Turn 2 for the low price of $25. Now before anyone rips me apart, Wrong Turn 2 is supposed to be a beautiful gorefest. Having nothing to do with the original, which btw wasn't terrible, this one stars Henry Rollins as a retired military commander. Need I say anymore. I got the great review from dvdtalk.com which is a highly reliable source for dvd releases. It is VERY useful when trying to decide whether or not to double dip when a movie gets re-released with special super duper bonus features.
Sorry for the plug. I have no affiliation with the site so I'm just trying to help out the dvd lovers out there. I'll get back with my personal review on Wrong Turn 2.
28 Weeks is awesome once again.

Just got to see it today, at the end I started to think about World War Z.
All around great movie. That one guy, dont know his name but he is Stringer Bell in The wire. should have had a bigger part.

It was a good film, but a pity that they have changed a few little things. The zombies seemed to be better at fully killing people this time around rather than just infecting people, which was a pity as I liked the whole idea that every single person caught by the zombies would add to their numbers... and that chick who died pathetically toward the end should totally have been a zombie.
Danny Boyle wants to make a third film and while he is thinking Russia would be a nice place to set a sequel he is also thinking of a prequel. The British Army have been asked how cooperative they would be with a film along the lines of 28 Hours Later but so far they are thinking no, as it would require signifigant amounts of hardware... Boyle seemingly wants to show a nation collapsing, which has been done before, from the viewpoint of the frontlines, which would be pretty cool as most other films just have people hiding away. Personally I would love to see riot police taking on zombie hordes in the first hours and days, and then an armoured division a while later. Jolly good fun. But Russia would be nice too.

I think keeping the 3rd movie in France would be nice. They deserve some infected recognition.
