Yea, I'm really not to sure about this movie. It looks cool from the trailers, but I dont know, something about the gun-leg chick, is just like "I dont get it." But the more and more I see the more I kinda wanna see it (when its on DVD, I have a home theater so the movies just dont do it for me, plus I can drink BEER!). Plus, I really love Rodriguez and Tarantinos' movies, I mean c'mon Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs... Awesome!

I just don't understand how anyone cannot see the entertainment value in a Hot Chick in a tube top that has a M-16 with a 203 Attachment for a leg that massacres Flesh Eating Zombies. It's a Quentin ******* Tarrantino & Robert Rodriguez Movie People.
Resevoir Dogs - Excellent
Pulp Fiction - Excellent
Jackie Brown - Great
Kill Bill 1 & 2 - Excellent
Robert Rodriguez + Sin City = Excellent

It was good. But, the movie got its Cred from Tarrantino producing not directing. It's what drew me to watch it.

Saw it...Loved it...
Although, I think some people won't get it. With Grindhouse it's not just the Double Feature it is also an experience.
The fake movie trailers were hillarious and awesome. I was expecting a little more T & A . 3 Hours is a long time to spend in a movie seat. You definetly feel like you've seen a double feature when it's over.
They also showed a trailer for Rob Zombie's new Halloween movie, and it looked pretty good.

Just got home from watching this too. I loved both of the movies. To really "get it", I think it's safe to say the double feature is meant mostly moviegoers and movie geeks who like a lot of violence. They are pretty much playing on that idea a lot throughout the movies and really play with the audience's experience in some of the things they do. In a way it has a sense of Shaun of the Dead in that it made fun of the genre by being a part of the genre. Great stuff all around though.
Which "feature" did you like better? It's a pretty close call for me... but I'm going with Rodriguez I think.
Trailers were also great, especially "Don't". HAHAH!

I liked Planet Terror more than Death Proof. But they were'' both good in their own way.
I liked the Werewolf Women of the SS trailer and Thanksgiving

Do they have an intermission or is it just one right after the other?

After Planet Terror is over it says " The End " and then it has the hokey coming attractions come across the screen like it had in the 70's. They show 3 fake trailers ( I think ) and then goes right into Death Proof.
