^Bump^

Saw the previews for it awhile ago and thought it looked funny as hell. Shaun of the Dead was alright but I think this is gonna be much better. I can't believe he drop kicked that old lady, lmao. It comes out April 20th (limited release I think).

The first time I saw the trailer I didn't like it. Now I'm kinda keen on seeing it. I've never been a fan of English Humor movies. Shaun of the Dead was awesome. I drove a Hour away just to go see that , but that's just because it was a Zombie movie.

I saw Hot Fuzz last night.

I absolutely loved Shaun, and was looking forward to more greatness from the same team.

A lot of people may end up being disappointed with Hot Fuzz because the mayhem doesn't unfold until the last 3rd of the movie. The first two thirds is all setup for the punchline, which I thought was perfect when it finally delivered. It'll be up to you if it makes up for the dry setup.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being Shaun of The Dead, I give Hot Fuzz a 7. I look forward to more from the team behind both of these movies.

On another note:
I saw two previews with this film that had me laughing so hard, I almost pissed myself.

Check them out:

Superbad and Balls of Fury

I want to go see this movie so bad!

That fat cop in the trailer reminds me of me!

The part in the trailer where they get brain freeze just cracks me up, I hope the rest of the movie is that funny.

I will probably go see it next week..... so don't spoil it! (Joke)

I saw it lastnight during the 11pm show, not as many people, but yes, it takes a minute but it is absolutely hilarious. I loved it and cant wait for it to come out to DVD.

Simon Pegg's newer movie coming out this fall looked hilarious as well, "Run Fatboy Run".

I just IMDB'd this and just the people involved looks great. Michael Ian Black writing? That's gonna be awesome.

This film is a bit too British I think. I didn't get a few wee bits that the English people in the cinema laughed at... and it ain't just that I'm thick, because the English are almost certainly the dumbest people in Europe. The Spanish don't count. But it was a good film anyway... how much better than Shaun of the Dead it is can be demonstrated by the other comedians involved... Shaun had Dylan Moran, Hot Fuzz has Bill Bailey. HF wins hands down.
