I was not aware they implemented that feature. I should probably update my Limewire. I have a really old version I use for pr0n.

The point is Metallica truly is in it for the money. Even though Napster is legal now, they should of had the balls not do any type of buisness with them after shutting them down.
Every month I have to plug my iRiver (MP3 Device, much better then Ipod), into my PC and connect it to napster. The files refresh on my device and they are good to go. If you stop paying the files wont refresh and you arent able to play them anymore.
And its not stupid Radio. Have you ever rented a movie before? Its the same idea only I have unlimited downloads for $15 a month (thats half of one of your CD's) and still can purchase CD's that I really like. The service has introduced me to so many great bands, its definatley not a waste.

So if you cancel your subscription, and stop paying $15.00 per month, you can't listen to the music you downloaded anymore?
If that's the case, then I hope you realize how stupid that is. I mean, come on, you're paying for the same songs every single month.
It'd be like if you had a magazine subscription for a year, and then cancelled it the 2nd year, and you had to give back all the magazines you got the first year.

OMEGA, have you ever rented a movie? If you have, then its just as stupid as Napster To Go. Im paying for old albums plus I download atleast 4-5 new albums a month. Its really good in the long run because it allows me to listen to alot of different kinds of music and find new artists that I normally wouldn't listen too. I find it more stupid that people are willing to spend 15 bucks on an album that they arent sure they will like.

They way I'm understanding it, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but for $15 per month you can download as much as you want. If you stop paying the $15 per month, then you can't listen to what you downloaded anymore?

Correct. Just like you can't watch a movie after you have returned it to Blockbuster. You are technically renting the music. Its good for a person like me who has a lot of music but doesn't have money to spend 15 bucks for every album, and doesnt like using piracy programs.

There used to be a good site called Share Reactor.
It had everything!
Games (console/PC), music, movies, and whatever else can be downloaded.
It was shut down though a few years ago, the guy who owned it got a few years in jail for piracy and whatever else he did. I think it was based out of the Netherlands somewhere.
If that site was still up, Limewire wouldn't be what it is today. (Crap that people love for some ungodly reason)
