Rage Against the Machine / Coachella Festival

Wow.....I just found out that Rage Against the Machine are reforming and playing together at this concert. This is one of the best concerts that goes on every year. I have no details on the reforming of Rage, if it's with Zach or not and if they'll do tours afterwards...but it's still some damn exciting news. Rage Agianst The Machine is exactly what this world needs right now. Check out the full Line-up, this is not a concert to miss with or without Rage, this is a show worth traveling for.

Mods...please correct my spelling in thread title as I was very excited.
Gots it. -Swiss

You just made my mouth water. I knew that Audioslave was on hiatus and Tom and Chris both had solo albums coming out but a Rage reunion as you said "is what the world needs". I think it will be Zack since it says Rage Against the Machine will be headlining the festival, I highly doubt it will be any other singer. Maybe this concert will lead to a new album and tour. Even though I love Audioslave, a new Rage album would be awesome.

Yeah after I posted this I checked the Official Rage site and , obviously it would be nothing but Zack. Hopefully after this performance they become inspired enough to tour more and do an album.
I definetley say that you can thank the current events of the world to bring the Rage back.

The only thing that kinda makes me wonder, will this be the end of Audioslave. I have definatley like Rage more then Audio (I use to not, but times have changed) but Rage was part of the past and I was looking forward to more Audioslave.

I wonder if they can balance Rage and Audio at the same time. I doubt they will since Tom Morello has a promising solo career with a new album set to release soon and Brad Wilk just had a kid. But I am getting ahead of myself, this reunion could be a one time thing. Oh how I wish I lived in California.

I heard all about this in my Human Relations class today. A couple friends of mine in that class are die hard fans, and already booked a flight out there and have plans made. I'd die of laughter if they didn't get tickets.

Chris Cornell is doing the solo thing also...making this the perfect time for a RATM reunion. They can balance both...I think Zack has always been the weird one in the band as far as projects and keeping things rolling, but he really hasn't done anything...sometimes a long break is good. I might get tickets and travel to see this show.

This news has gotten me so excited ive been watching Rage videos on YouTube for like a half hour. This is honestly one of the only bands that I love that could possibly reunite (most of my favorite bands have atleast one dead member) so its like the jackpot. I just heard on TV that there has also been rumors of a full on tour but that could be complete BS.

Theres some more but all you have to do is type in "Rage Against the Machine Coachella" to find them. I also heard they are playing a wisconsin show at Alpine Valley about an hour and half from where I live. I feel so damn lucky now.

Ok, I don't have many details, but this is more big big news that no other rage site has that we should all be excited about! It looks like Rage has booked a show in East Troy, Wisconsin on August 24th at Alpine Valley. Once I get any new information regarding this show it will be posted here.
