Actually otter, KSE's lead singer does more vocals than growls. I find that the majority of them come from the guitarist/back-up singer.

Well whenever I listen to them I guess I only got the growl songs lmao. I JUST bought their new album, holy ****, it's pretty slick. The first song is amazing, I love the beginning.
And Pvt. Dirt, I love the Chariot, I bought a tee of them and Josh (lead vox) just pwns. Old norma jean is amazing since it has him, but I think he's better in The Chariot.

To me, growling = screaming, just one's low and one's high. A little bit of either in songs is okay, just not too much. lol and for the people who say Slipknot is too hard and deathly and stuff, try listening to Diet Slipknot, lol (Stone Sour) they're awesome. Checkout 30/30 - 150, Come Whatever May, Hell & Consequences, Your God, Socio, etc...all good.

He may be talking about the Original KSE singer , which is the one I preffered.
This is my friend Pats band, The Absence, that I grew up with, they just got signed with Metal Blade Records last year. I just don't care for that style of singing but the instrument department shreds.

Otter, I'm glad you picked up the new CD. It's amazing.
The new CD has very powerful lyrics, especially in This Is Absolution, number 2. Especially the verse before the last chorus. Genius.
Adam D. does some back up vocals, but most of it isn't that big of a part in the song.
If anyone else watched the KSE DVD, they showed a clip of Adam at a show talking to the audience.
"As I look into the crowd, I see many shirts of different bands or brands. However, I should see a lot of Tampax shirts, for all you f*ckin' p*ssies."
Something similar to that. Haha, Adam is so funny. I love his cape and short shorts he wears.
Also, more than half the time he is messing around, doing something where it does not allow him to play his guitar, so Joel, the other guitarist does nearly all of the work when they play live.
It's quite funny, the band still practices, writes, and jams in the basement of Joel's parent's house.

They're pretty f*cking awsome, check em' out if your into screamo/post hardcore...They're also signed by Solid State, and Solid Stade bands are usall great Screamo/Hardcore/Metalcore/Post Hardcore badns :D
