Metal/Heavy Metal songs needed

I'd like to have a lot (really a lot) of hardcore, metal, heavy metal, emo rock songs. Preferably not Underoath (he screams a lot though). I hope OTTER will bring his 1337 rocks list.

Thank you!

Most of my list are older bands but I threw in some newer ones as well.

Black Sabbath (They started it)
Iron Maiden
Alice Cooper
AC/DC
Metallica (Stick to their older stuff)
Megadeth
Motorhead
Slayer
Ministry
Ozzy Osbourne
Guns and Roses
Pantera
Rage Against the Machine
System of a Down
Velvet Revolver (hopefully they can get their **** together and release another album)

And what kind of list would this be if I left out the best Metal band in the world.

SPINAL TAP (Rock and Roll!)

Velvet Revolver is metal? I have Contraband and I don't think that it's nearly heavy enough to be metal.

I agree... it's more rock than metal.

Here is my "metal" list:

Slayer
Deicide
Napalm Death
Metallica
Megadeth
Pantera
Sepultura
Death Angel
Stormtroopers of Death (aka S.O.D.)
Anthrax
Obituary

Best list on here, Hands Down. ( Except Metallica who now reek of rotten cheese ) I've seen every single one of these bands more than once.

Additions:
Lamb of God
Gwar
Superjoint Ritual
Down
Iron Maiden

I second SOD because they rule. I also suggest Judas Priest, Black Label Society, Britny Fox, Motorhead, and HammerFall.

First of all, thanks for the kind words about my list.

Second, anytime that I "nominate" Metallica or speak about Metallica, I am purely speaking of their old school stuff... anything from 1981 to 1989.

Example: Kill em all, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, Garage Days Re-revisited, ...And Justice for All (except for the song "One") are all classic examples of metal albums, if you ask me. I grew up listening to them all...
