After this past Weekend's Iron Maiden concert, I have concluded:
Trivium = absolute ****
Iron Maiden + thunder and lightning + pouring rain = badass

Damn You !!!!
Iron Maiden is on the top of my list of bands to see and time is running out. I've thought about flying to Texas / New Jeresey many times to see them. Maiden really hates Florida bad. I forgot the reasons why but I know they'll never play here.
I remember when I bought a Trivium CD a few years ago. It was the only CD that I ever threw out my Truck window while driving down the road.

The opening acts were Trivium and Maiden's bassist's daughter - I forget her name. Both were equally terrible.
But after that, it was a simply amazing show - they really know how to put on a great performance, and they played almost all of their classics. The heavens opened up when they came on stage and we were out on the lawn under the heaviest rain you can imagine, with thunder and lightning around us. Horns in the air and doobie on the lips. Simply Metal.
