Weeds

Weeds

Episode 2 of Season 2 starts tonight on Showtime at 10:00 Pm EST.
Rarely do I see a show that pushes the envelope like this. I've heard so much about this show that I had to check it out.

Plot Line

Nancy Botwin ( Mary Louise Parker ) is a recently widowed live-at-home Mom with two kids whos' husband dropped dead while jogging. To make ends meet, she becomes a Pot dealing Mom that lives in the suburbs. I just recently bought Season 1 on DVD, 10 epidoes at 1/2 hour each, total hillarity.
Even if you don't have Showtime I highly suggest giving the DVD a look.
Has anyone seen this Show ????????

Yeah im hooked on this series too. (who would of thought? ) Saw all the episodes from the first season.

I'll have to catch it at 11pm though as the HBO Katrina/Spike Lee flick is on first.

I've heard lots of good stuff about this show...

Should I start watching it now or watch the first season first? I generally like to start from the beginning on everything but I may not have time this "season".

I wouldn't say that I'm hooked but I did see the first season and thought it was funny. Kevin Nealand had some pretty good scenes. I liked the episode where Mary Louise Parkers son decided to become a bully after always being picked on. That was a funny *** episode. I actually can't remember how the first season ended. Didn't someone die or was she getting evicted or something?

I saw the end of the first episode of the Second Season and got the 1st Season DVD. I busted that out in three days, enough to get caught up.

The episode where the drive Bye happened when Nancy was at her dealers house was pretty funny.

*** Update***
Just watched 2nd Episode of Season 2 last night. This show is Solid Gold. The ending of this particular episode really makes you thirsty for the next.

*** EPIC BUMP ***

Who's watching the current season (season 4)?? I don't have Showtime so I gotta wait for them to be on torrents so I get like a 1 day delay... but I usually don't get around to watching them til mid-week anyways. I just finished Episode 5, it was awesome.

I have all the previous season on Bluray so I got caught up. I highly recommend the series on BD by the way, the extra material is pretty good, but it's not something to watch over and over again. I'm not sure if the same stuff is on the DVD version or not. One of them, the guy who plays Conrad shows you how to grow "hydroponic tomatoes". On another one, they've got some great recipes of stuff to make with "herbs of your choice". They're pretty ballsy.

I've really dropped the ball on watching this series about one of my favorite past times. I have Season 1 & 2 on DVD and I never made it through all of season 2, so that's the reason why I never purchased Season 3. I'm really ashamed because Mary Louis Parker is Hot Hot Hot...I'd do just about anything to get me a piece of that.
I think when the series is completely done I'll start over with the full set.

I own the first two seasons and I should of bought the 3rd when it first came out because it was on sale. When I went back to buy it, it was priced at $40 so I told myself I'll wait.
