James Bond: Casino Royal
Goodness gracious...the next James Bond film. Hopefully this one won't be as much of a flop as Die Another Day was. That one was terrible I thought. Casino Royal might be better but I don't like who they chose as the role of James Bond. I forgot his name, but he was in Tomb Raider as Jolie's ex-boyfriend. He is blonde and has blue eyes...which is a bit different since all the past Bonds have had brown hair and mostly brown eyes (except Roger Moore). But like I said...I hope this movie turns out to be just as good as some the previous films like Goldeneye. Anyone else have any thoughts on the latest up-and-coming Bond film?

His name is Daniel Craig. I think he's a good choice. He starred in Steven Spielberg's " Munich " , which I highly suggest that everyone sees, awesome movie. Just set aside three hours of your time and put the English Captions on.
Alot of people are slamming the new Bond , But I'll reserve judgement until I see the movie. I lost alot of interest with the Bond franchise when Pierce Brosman was Bond, because it got a little cheesy, except for Goldeneye.

Man I loved Pierce Brosnan. He had the perfect attitude for Bond. I can't stand Roger Moore though. Now he was cheesy.

The only thing Bond is good for is spoofs... the inevitable walleyed goons, car chase, bond getting caught, escaping, caught again, silly way of killing him, escaping again and saving the day... too repetitive

Are you kidding? Have you seen a Bond film featuring Roger Moore? His preformance as Bond completly blows Brosnan's away. The only good Bond film Pierce Brosnan was in was Goldeneye. Roger Moore was in, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The spy who loved me, Moonraker, For your eyes only, Octo*****, and a View to Kill. If you want to talk about cheesy Bond's rent Licence to Kill, and The Living Daylights. Timothy Dalton sucked.
Sean Connery is still the best though...

George Lazenby of 1969s' " On Her Majesty's Secret Service " was the worst of the Bonds thus far. It's blasphemy: : , but I can't stand the way Sean Connery talks , it drives me insane. Every word he speaks ends in SHHHHHHHH. Roger Moore always gets a bad rap, But thats the Bond I watched at the time growing up.
Actually though, when they brought back Sean Connery for " Never Say Never Again " I thought that was a pretty good bond flick too.

I have every Bond film, magnum. Roger Moore was a good bond, but the movie style was cheesy. He always had very stupid remarks and gestures. Timothy Dalton was terrible, I'll agree with that.

I will be going to see this movie, simply because I have seen almost every other James Bond movie there is. I'm not a die-hard fan, but my cablevision enjoys running James Bond marathons more than anything else.
Die Another Day was an entertaining movie at times, but I'll agree with you on that it was a flop. In my opinion, it didn't hold up to the expectations of the other great Bond films.
If Daniel Craig is indeed the new James Bond, it will be interesting to see how he works with the Bond story line, and atmosphere. Like NUN-PUNCHER, I won't judge him until I see him in the movie.

In my opinion, Connary and Brosnan made the best Bond's and I'm going to miss Brosnan a lot. He was just perfect for the role. I love all Bond films no matter the actor though. Some not as much as others but I'll still see and buy this movie just because it's a Bond movie. And it's a remake of a good 'ol classic! I don't like the guy playing Bond very much though. :?

If he starred in Munich, then he must be good because I loed the acting in that. Did he star beside Eric Banner?(Go Aussies,GG) Hopefully this movie will be more like the classics because IMO the recent ones wernt much chop.
